Good evening saints, Jesus Christ is Lord. I discovered some great secrets from the Bible as I studied and prayed. One of the major reasons if not the only reason sometimes prayers are not answered is the fault of our perception of God. Yes!!! There's no unanswered prayer, that is not Bible Doctrine. Have you ever heard the phrase "Sometimes God doesn't give you what you prayed for because He saw you weren't ready for it, it would have bad impact on your life", that's the most slanderous statement believed by a lot of Christians today, and is born out of "sentiment-based" faith, not founded in the Scriptures. Jesus once said 'you'll never ask God for a bread and He gives you a stone' that already tells you that be sure to receive exactly what you asked from God. I discovered that our perception of someone will always determine how we relate with them, example: when I visit your house and you know me as a thief, that's how you perceive me, I tell you, you won't let me out of your sight even for a second because you'll loose something. Sometimes I may not even be a thief, but your perception of me will not allow you rest, because in your mind I'm a thief, so you relate with me as you will with a thief. Married people may relate better this: if you perceive your spouse to be cheating on you, you'll never rest, always snooping and prying around on them because in your mind, they are cheaters, they may not even be cheating, but its in your perception....so also with God, before you pray fix your perceptions about God, which will give you confidence and assurance that you will get exactly what you ask. That is a foundation for my discovery. Please read on and be blessed, ask questions if you want:
The Nature of God
■Errors of the prophets
There are without any doubts, mistakes and errors made by the prophets in the Old Testament Scriptures, when they presented God to us. Some of these mistakes are: [Gen 6:6; 18:20-21; Job 1:6-9; 1Sam 2:6] and many others.
> It is evident that God has never used anyone perfect except Jesus Christ, so because they were imperfect people, their errors are visible.
♡The need to explain Scriptures
>Hence there's a great need to "rightly divide the Word of Truth" (2Tim 2:15).
●The Holy Spirit said "no one has ever seen God at any time" (John 1:18; 3:13; 5:37).
> This includes all the Old Testament people have never seen God, they were interacting with angels thinking it was God.(Gal 3:19; Heb 2:1-4; Acts 7:53)
♡The True Revelation of God
■So Jesus is the first and only manifestation of God in time (John 1:18; Col 1:15; Heb 1:3; 2Cor 4:6).
>So to know God we look at Christ, what Christ does is exactly what God does, and what Jesus Christ does not do, certainly God doesn't and has never done ever, because Jesus is the True Revelation of God (Philippians 2:5-6; John 5:19; Heb 13:7)...Therefore whatever was said or known about God can be corrected by looking at God Himself in human form, Jesus Christ.
>Whatever we can't find in Christ is not found in God (John 14:8-10).
Jesus Christ never killed, so God never killed anyone from the beginning of time. Jesus Christ never lied or deceived any body, so obviously God never did.
> By this we can correct the wrong perceptions of the Old Testament.
Jesus went about doing good to all sharing Love to all (Acts 10:38). So obviously God knows only to do good and to love without measure.
To know God we study and examine Christ thoroughly.
■Moses disclaimer
Moses after having given the Law, he put a disclaimer on his teachings when he said another Prophet superior to him was to come.(Deuteronomy 18:15-19; Acts 3:22)
>That is why when Christ came, He first corrected the errors made by Moses (Matt 5:17-48)
God's Nature and character are betterunderstood by at Jesus Christ, (James 1:6-24; 1John 4:8) not on some visions or dreams of the so-called prophets.
So we can now see that it was not God who gave Satan authority over Job, it wasn't God who killed lives in the Old Testament, the devil was in operation behind the scenes (John 8:43-45). Let's renew our minds from any polluted perception about God (James 1:16-19). I remember in Luke's Gospel, the Lord was about to pass through a certain village in Samaria to Jerusalem, the people of that village didn't allow him to pass, His disciples were angry and wanted to call fire from heaven to destroy that village. The Lord who is God Himself revealed in the flesh Jesus Christ rebuked (corrected) them that He's not a murderer. Since God doesn't change Jesus would have allowed those disciples to call fire down, that would prove that God was behind Elijah's fire that destroyed human lives, by Him not permitting that, God was putting a disclaimer on that Elijah's killing. One day we will explore who's the culprit behind those deaths. But for now fix your attitude, you'll see your prayers answers without any struggle. Be blessed. Amen
