The Power in His Word

Psalm 138: 7-8

And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.

The word brings salvation
The word brings healing
The word of God needs to be exhausted
The word is productive

We should be speaking the Word of God that God gives us for every situation!

Church is open for Kingdom business!!!
We have a choir practice today at 14h00 and our normal church service at 09h00 tomorrow morning. Tell someone, invite a friend, and come with an expectant heart!

For the kind of sorrow God wants us to experience leads us away from sin and results in salvation, There's no regret for that kind of sorrow. But worldly sorrow, which lacks repentance, results on spiritual death
1 Corinthians 7:10
What have you learnt from your past sin, your wrong doing? God wants us to ask that question to ourselves throughout our lives. Sin is not only something we should say sorry for, it is something that can teach us and help us walk closer to God. This means our walk with God can be strengthened when we repent for our sins.

Blessed greetings GFCI family, due to the gazetted COVID 19 restrictions; faith based gatherings are suspended for two weeks in January. This will be reviewed by the government then we will be advised when to open for church again.
In the meantime, we must read our bibles and stay prayerful that God will have mercy on us during this fight of this virus.
Let's pray for the those affected as well, that God will comfort them and be their light in these dark times.

Due to the new curfew times; our end year Thursday service will now be from 17h00-19h00 to adhere to the new curfew of 21h00.

We will not have the cross over service and prayer this year because we have to adhere to the country's COVID 19 regulations and restrictions. We currently have a curfew starting at 23h00.
