The Father’s Care.
Jesus came to reveal God not as a distant ruler, but as our loving Father.
In His prayer for His disciples, He said, “I have manifested Your name” (John 17:6–11). When He taught us how to pray, He began with these comforting words:
“Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.”
— Matthew 6:9 (NKJV)
In every distress, every fear, and every need, we can confidently come before the throne of grace. The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayers (1 Peter 3:12).
Consider the story of Hagar (Genesis 21:14–20).
Abandoned in the wilderness with her son, she found herself without water, without help, and without hope. The earthly father was absent, but the Heavenly Father was present. He saw her tears, heard the cry of the boy, and in her moment of greatest need, He opened her eyes to a well of water nearby and provided for them.
Even when others leave, He remains faithful.
Our Heavenly Father knows exactly what we need even before we ask Him (Matthew 6:32), and He lovingly invites us to cast all our cares upon Him because He cares for us (1 Peter 5:7).
Today's Reminder:
Whatever we may be facing today, we must remember that we have a Father in heaven who sees us, hears us, and cares deeply for us. He knows our need, understands our situation, and is able to provide.
We are never alone.
