The moon signalling the commencement of the radiant Hijri month of Rabiul Awwal Shareef 1447 has been sighted in South Africa.

The 1st commenced this evening, 24 August 2025 with the onset of Maghrib.

Almighty Allah ordains us to celebrate His favours and mercy. Undoubtedly, the greatest of all His blessings and the epitome of His mercy is our most beloved and sublime Prophet Muhammad صل الله عليه وسلم.

The illuminated month of Rabiul Awwal are the days of celebration whilst the personality of the august Nabi Muhammad صل الله عليه وسلم is commemorated and praised in our gratitude to our Creator for the honour of being from amongst his Ummah.
