Indonesia heat by 7•7 earthquake

A powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Flores Island in eastern Indonesia early on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers. The quake killed at least 20 people, collapsed buildings, and triggered a brief tsunami warning that was lifted after three hours.

1 Thesssalonians 4:13-18:
Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. we believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.
According to the Lord's own word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certain not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himselve will come down from Heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
And we will be with the Lord for ever. Therefore encourage each other with these words.

Trials may wave, but God’s final word for His people is restoration, security, strength, and permanence—now in part, fully in eternity

Lord we thank You for strength to endure. Though we may be persecuted and crushed but we are never destroyed. Touch many that are going through fiery trials and restore many that are troubled this day. Amen
