*When Faith Becomes Factual*
True faith, genuine faith, is only revealed when we trust God even in hard times. In the times of suffering. In the times of loss. We still trust God.
That’s the kind of faith that makes the world stop and take notice.
When you can get up Sunday morning while all your friends are heading to the beach or a festival, but you grab hold of the Bible and you come to church — that’s faith becoming factual.
Pastor spoke about a few Bible characters who went through hard times, yet they showed their faith. They were just like you and me:
*1. Faith becomes factual when the Son of God shows up in the fiery furnace*
People noticed when the three Hebrew boys were in the fire and the Son of God showed up. The Son of God must show up in our tests and our challenges.
Even though I’m going through the storm, I must still show up and praise my God. They threw 3 men in the fire, but they saw the fourth Man.
Does the world see the 4th Man in our faith, in our families? Praise the Lord.
The invisible Son of God must become the visible Son of God. Faith becomes a fact when the world can see Jesus in a Christian.
*2. Faith becomes factual when the angel of God appears in the lion’s den*
You might not have an actual lion in your life, but there are lions.
Remember: when lions surround you, the Lion of Judah surrounds them. Nobody can overpower the Lion of Judah. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords.
*3. Faith becomes factual when the Red Sea opens* – _Exodus 14:13_
Your “Red Sea” might be what’s keeping you from where you need to be. They came out of Egypt toward the Promised Land and hit the Red Sea. They couldn’t swim across it because the army was right behind them.
Faith becomes a fact. “Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.” _Exodus 14:13_
Be still and know that He is God. You have Someone to turn to. Don’t be afraid of your Red Sea. Don’t be afraid of who’s behind you.
A prophetic word is spoken over you today: We consider it done in the name of Jesus.
*4. Faith becomes a fact when a man born blind receives sight* – _John 9:25_
Pastor could relate to what the blind man went through. Jeremiah says, “Future events cast a shadow before them.” The blind man believed he would see again.
Pastor wasn’t born blind, but over the years his eyesight failed him. This man was born blind — not because he sinned, not because of his parents’ sin — but “that the glory of God might be revealed.” _John 9:3_
His day arrived in John 9:25: “One thing I know: whereas I was blind, now I see.”
You must come to that place. Your miracle is on the way. Just have faith. Faith will become factual.
For those who are always sick — this day, Moses said to the people, “You will see this problem no more.” _Exodus 14:13_
Receive your miracle. One thing I know: those headaches you’ve been having, you will have them no more. Every other sickness or disease — your faith will override it.
I was sick, I am no more. I’m no longer the same. Pressure, come down. Diabetes, come down. I AM FREE. My faith becomes a fact.
I believed, therefore I received. I am joyful. I was blind, now I can see. I was an addict, Jesus set me free. I was in the world, Jesus set me free. I am free indeed.
No devil can rob me of freedom and prosperity. Yes, yes, yes — in Jesus all the promises are “Yes and Amen.” _2 Corinthians 1:20_
Thank You, Jesus. I see You doing a work in this place. You’re touching us. Jesus, Your favor is over us. We bless Your name. Amen.
*5. Faith becomes factual when total obedience is displayed*
_Genesis 12:1_ – The Lord said to Abraham, “Get out of your country.” Maybe the Lord is saying to you, “Get out of that filthy habit.”
It’s not a request, it’s a command. The Commander is God. It’s Jesus Christ. The Commander has all authority in heaven and on earth. He has all the resources. As you obey the command, He will resource you.
_Genesis 12:2_ – “I will make you a great nation. I will make your name great.” One day when you die, your name will be well spoken of, and you will be a blessing.
_Genesis 12:4_ – And he obeyed. Don’t waste time. The song we sing says, “There is no waste at the altar.” Come to this altar, kneel down, and give your life to God.
Sit through the Word. Don’t wander away.
Your life will not be wasted. There will be no waste at the altar.
Pastor prays that you and I will be obedient to the voice of God. People will ask, “What happened to this lady or man?”
Jesus happened. The promise happened.
_Genesis 13:2_ – “And Abraham was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” Pastor wants each and every one of us to be rich — in obedience.
*Takeaway:*
This is my finding: There is nothing Jesus has ever done for His disciples that He will not do for any of His disciples. He will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all we ask or think. _Ephesians 3:20_
God bless you.
