Sometimes, the person carrying the heaviest burden is the one standing in front of the church every Sunday.

A pastor may smile, preach with strength, encourage the broken, pray for the hurting, and continue serving—even when his own heart is tired. Behind the pulpit is a servant who also needs prayer, encouragement, rest, and someone who will remind him that he does not have to carry everything alone.

The ministry is not always easy. There are unseen battles, difficult decisions, disappointments, spiritual attacks, and countless burdens that people may never see. Yet many pastors continue faithfully because they love God and love His people.

So today, don’t only ask your pastor to pray for you—pray for your pastor too. 🙏

Pray for his strength when he feels weak.
Pray for wisdom when decisions are difficult.
Pray for protection over his family.
Pray for his spiritual life, health, and peace.
Pray that God will renew his heart and give him courage to keep serving.

And if your pastor has blessed your life, encourage him. Support him. Appreciate him. Stand with him.

Because sometimes, the person carrying the church needs someone to help carry the burden.
