PRAISE THE LORD. THIS IS NOW 2026
It's been almost two weeks since we moved over from 2025 (THE YEAR OF OVERFLOW). Last year was a year filled with the grace of God, reasons for much thanksgiving, and of course, glorifying God all through the year.
We saw the hand of the Lord in all our affairs, and we are so grateful for His mercies and great compassion. I can boldly say for myself, family (-ies), friends, allies, colleagues and associates, that we did see the outwork of the power of the Holy Ghost, and the fulfilment of prophecies in the year 2025.
New Creation Fellowship Church Ministry; our local assembly, was a time to grow, even though this time, it is still the same and to develop as a church, a very firm emphasis during the year by the words spoken by God's Spirit, that "God is building strong local churches who are taught to flow with the Spirit." Coming alongside that also is the fact that He reiterated that "there is a move of the Spirit of God that will be lost to a generation except it is taught by precept and by example."
These words guided much of what we did, and will still do in the years to come. For this, we say that in all of these, Jesus is glorified, and we are grateful for His awesome grace and power. And we say this with all of our heart and might.
Also, we will not stop being grateful for the gift of friends, relationships, and partners, whose trust in us and companionship keep showing the manifestation of God's purpose and plans in our lives and in the days to come.
Now, this is 2026. And as we often say, it is not just a change in times, it is a rededication to the plans, purposes and pursuits of God in another year.
God, who always stands in His renewed covenant, calls us to remind us of that covenant, which is dateless and eternal. And this, we will do concerning His church and the work of His Spirit in the earth. So, we are in 2026 with a heart full of faith and expectation; full of rededication, and a stronger focus and hope, even by God's Spirit.
The written Word admonishes us to follow prophecies, to use them, to walk in them (1 Timothy 1:18), and also not to neglect the import of those prophecies (1 Timothy 4:14).
In 1 Thessalonians 5:19, he instructs us also not to quench the fire of the Spirit, which definitely referred to the place of prophecies in 1 Thessalonians 5:20.
And so, this becomes instructive for us as a church. Like I said last year, we will follow the pattern to rejoice evermore, and to pray always, and to give thanks always (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
As we follow the prophecies given to us at this time and season, which is still to the time of growing and growth, even as ministry gifts multiply in our church, and we plant more of the work of God's spirit around the earth, it is therefore a time to increase our dedication and affirm our commitment to what God is doing for us particularly as a local church.
So I say to you, dear believers, make sure to follow this with the whole of your heart.
"The lifewire of walking with God is your consistency and dedication to following instructions.
Let's get very practical. I often remind you:
• Don't miss teaching services.
• Don't miss prayer services.
• Don't miss any of our meetings (bible study, home visits, rehearsals, ect.)
• Don't miss visits to other ministries.
DON'T MISS THESE MEETINGS!
Now, these instructions should be in your meditation throughout the year. I have observed that some of us start out well, make plans, but eventually never get through with these commitments. Make sure this year is different.
The emphasis in 2025 was also on relationships.
I want you to deliberately build stronger relationships. It means that you will build godly relationships in God's Word and see it as the work of God's Spirit. By this, I mean to fellowship the more, contribute the more, and ensure to protect your relationships with prayer.
God always uses relationships, and it hasn't changed, and it will not change.
This year, we expect that there will be the pioneering of the works of God's Spirit across the earth. It will be accompanied with ministry gifts and demonstrations of God's Spirit.
Therefore, in a season like this, pioneering requires a lot of maturity, a lot of consecration, and dedication. So, give your all to see that something new is birthed and planted through and with you in this year, 2026.
And for us, New Creation Fellowship Church Ministry, by God's Spirit also, we are working with other ministries/churches (partners around the world), we trust that the work of His spirit will be established through them also.
We strongly believe that there will be planting of more local assemblies, not necessarily in a particular format, all around the world.
We are praying and trusting God to walk with it, both in our faith and in our prayer, and trusting also that it is in areas where we have probably not looked at before. We will focus our attention on what the Spirit of God is saying, and ensure that we do it.
There will be supernatural order. There will be supernatural direction, and there will be supernatural positioning for many of us, even by the spirit of God. Amen.
Brethren, it is a time to be much more committed to the local assembly.
"Commitment to the local assembly and your involvement is more than comfort."
Hebrews 10:24-25 admonishes believers under pressure, under persecution, even under what you can call stigma, not to forsake the assembling together of one another. This means that we must see our commitment to the local assembly, not based on the comfort that we have or enjoy.
So, let me reiterate what I said last year. If you listen to me, and follow me, and trust that God's Spirit is speaking through me to you:
I. Get more involved in the local church and in its ministry.
II. Show your commitment. Give more commitment and give more in your commitment. Be much more planted and rooted in the local assembly. Identify very well, and do not scamper around for anything because the local assembly is sufficient. Like, say "everything I ever need is provided in this assembly
We trust that God's method is the local church, and it will not change.
We are in the bible days, and we walk worthy of it. So, I will say this, concerning these instructions given, meditate upon it (Joshua 1:8, 1 Timothy 4:15) so that it will be evident that you are following them.
By the way, the local church is where people are taught to uphold the written Word and flow with the Spirit. We trust that we will model our local church, New Creation Fellowship Church Ministry, also much after this pattern.
So, in 2026:
Have your devotion the more
Spend more time with the basics.
In the past years, I have been emphasizing about doing the basics:
• Waking up to pray
• Meditating upon the Word
• Praying and seeking the Lord.
• Find His direction as touching your very crucial decisions
• Don't miss church. This year still, I repeat it again, don't miss church.
A great year is ahead of us. An influence-filled year, An impact-filled year, A glory-filled year. A testimony-filled year.
And we trust that this year too we will follow the leading of the Spirit of God. We will be strong by the Spirit of God. We will be focused by the Spirit of God.
In this year, we say and we boldly do, that new things will be birthed through us: thousands, into hundreds of thousands, and into millions will not just find faith in Christ Jesus, they will be established also in His purpose and plan.
We see an increase in the demonstrations of the gift of God and its attendant signs in our local assembly, also to the ones that will be planted in Jesus name.
Therefore, on behalf of my local church (New Creation Fellowship Church Ministry), friends, associates, family, I believe and I receive a season of influence and impact, a season for more, a season of growing, a time of stronger church, stronger believers, and a time where local churches are fulfilling the global mandate than ever before. A time of the manifestation of God's power for you and I, and all that belong to us, in the name of Jesus.
Together with you, I trust that we will celebrate much more, and in a greater measure, the end of 2026, in victory and in power, in the name of our Lord Jesus. Amen.
Lastly, our activities and services are still on halt, we will resume with our activities/services on the 1st February 2026 starting with our Sunday service at 09h00 in our Anchor site. Though we may have not yet resumed our activities and services, the year 2026 was declared as the YEAR OF APOSTOLIC INFLUENCE AND IMPACT and January as the month of TAKING OVER NEW TERRITORIES. I'm looking forward to seeing you as a mature person.
