WALKING IN HIS PERFECT WILL

…that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God (Romans 12:2).

You can live in God’s perfect will for your life as you follow Him in and through the Word. You can know and walk in His preordained paths for you. Once you recognise and yield yourself to Him, His will is no longer a mystery; He illumines your heart and your path to comprehend and apprehend His purpose for your life. You’d be in God’s place, in God’s time, for God’s purpose, in God’s way, and for God’s delight. Hallelujah! Some people are in the wrong job, business, relationships, etc., and as a result, they’re living amiss without realising it. Nothing about your life should be outside the will and purpose of God for you, including those you meet, where you go, the things you do, and so much more. The Bible says, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God” (Romans 8:14). When you yield yourself to the Spirit to lead and guide you, nothing happens to you or with you by chance! You’d meet only those He planned to be in your path, whether good or bad, but are integral to fulfilling your destiny in Him. Nothing compares to living in God’s perfect will; walking in His prearranged path; His exact plan and purpose for you at any given time. Therefore, in your life, and especially at these beginning days of the New Year, before you take major steps or decisions, be sure they’re in sync with God’s perfect will. Spend time to meditate on the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit, and there’ll be a light in your spirit; a consciousness of what you’re supposed to do. Perhaps, you think you’ve been out of the perfect will of God for your life, and as a result, things have been skewed. There can be a change even now! First, recognise that God is big enough to change things for you, or even create a new and better destiny for you. Yes, He can, because He’s God Almighty. Secondly, decide that effective immediately, you’ll allow the Holy Spirit have the dominion and mastery in your life. He’s the One that reveals to you and guides you to fulfil the will of the Father.

LOOK BEYOND YOURSELF

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13).

In Matthew 17:20, Jesus said, “...nothing shall be impossible unto you”; in other words, you can do anything. The Apostle Paul lends credence to this in our opening verse. Also, in 2 Corinthians 3:5, he takes it a step further, saying, “Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God.” This isn’t talking about your human sufficiency or ability, but of God’s ability in you; you’re to look beyond yourself. When you were born again, you received the very life and nature of God, meaning you have, and are to function with divine abilities. This is what gave Paul the boldness to say, “I can do all things through Christ!” It’s the same with every one of us. But many haven’t been able to look beyond themselves and their seeming inadequacies; hence, they concede to failure and to defeat. But not so with you; you’re born of God and therefore up to any task. Read 2 Corinthians 3:5 in the Amplified translation; it puts it in a better light: “Not that we are fit (qualified and sufficient in ability) of ourselves to form personal judgments or to claim or count anything as coming from us, but our power and ability and sufficiency are from God.” You’re to look beyond what your physical ability can do, now that Christ is in you. Your sufficiency is a God-sufficiency. Hallelujah! This was David’s mentality when he confronted Goliath. He eye-balled the giant and said, “I’ll cut your head off your shoulders today and feed your carcass to the birds of the air” (1 Samuel 17:46). How could David, a mere stripling, make such a boast? He had learnt to look beyond himself, unto the Lord. He said to Goliath, “I come against you in the Name of the Lord of host, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied” (1 Samuel 17:45). David was saying, “I may be the one standing before you, but God is actually the One standing against you, because I’m standing in His Name, not in my name. I’m functioning in His might, not mine!” Hallelujah! Have the same consciousness, because even better than what David had, the greater One lives in you today. He speaks through you, heals the sick through you and blesses through you. You have all His power and limitless resources domiciled in your spirit. Glory to His Name forever!

The New Life In Christ

Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in christ(the Messiah) he is a new creation(a new creature altogether); the old [Previous moral and spiritual condition]has passed away .Behold,the fresh and new has come(2 corinthians 5:17 AMP)

The new creation is without a past.He's a brand new species of being that never existed before.When the scripture above says, "Old things are passed away,"it means the old life;the old nature no longer exists. Romans 6:4 tells us that "as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the father,even so we should walk in newness of life".What you have now is a new life altogether. According to the scriptures,when jesus died,you died with him; when he was,you were buried with him into a newness of life. That's why the word admonishes us to "Put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness" (Ephesians 4:24).Your old nature was crucified with christ.
Sickness,poverty,failure and death are not a part of your new life in christ.Cease to lament your past because God doesn't have the record of that life .Your new life begun the day you recieved Christ and confessed his lordship over your life.Eternal life was at once imparted to your human spirit,and you became a new creation
