THE 3RD OF RAMADAAN
WISAAL SHAREEF OF THE QUEEN OF PARADISE
SAYIDA FATHIMA ZAHRA رضي الله عنها
The 3rd of Ramadaan marks the wisaal shareef of Sayyeda Fathima Zahra رضي الله عنها, the beloved daughter of Nabi Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم and Sayyeda Khadija رضي الله عنها.
She was honoured with beautiful titles.
Zahra, the luminous one, because of her radiant face.
Batool, the one detached from worldly pleasures.
Tahira, the pure and chaste.
Her status in the heart of Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم was unmatched. He said,
“Fatima is part of me. What saddens her saddens me and what pleases her pleases me.”
Sahih al Bukhari.
Sayyiduna Umar ibn al Khattab رضي الله عنه once said to her,
“I swear by Allah, I have not seen anyone more beloved to the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم than you, and after your father, no one is more beloved to me than you.”
Al Mustadrak of Hakim and Fadail al Sahabah of Imam Ahmad.
Sayyeda Aisha رضي الله عنها said,
“I have not seen anyone who resembled Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم more in speech, character and manner than Fatima.”
Al Adab al Mufrad.
Whenever she entered the room, Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم would stand up, welcome her, kiss her, hold her hand and seat her in his place. This was the honour given to her by the Seal of the Prophets صلى الله عليه وسلم.
He صلى الله عليه وسلم.
also declared her rank clearly,
“Fatima is the leader of the women of Paradise.”
On the Day of Judgment, when all of creation will be gathered, a voice will call out,
“Lower your gaze. Fatima, the daughter of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم, is passing.”
Musnad Imam Ahmad.
She was among the four greatest women of the world, together with Maryam daughter of Imran, Asiya wife of Firawn, and Khadija bint Khuwaylid رضي الله عنهن.
Mustadrak al Hakim.
Her life was of simplicity . She preferred worship over luxury. She gave her food to the poor. She lived with Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه in humility. When she once requested a servant due to hardship, Rasulullah صلى الله عليه وسلم instead taught her the blessed Tasbeeh, Subhan Allah 33 times, Alhamdulillah 33 times, Allahu Akbar 34 times.

Ala Hazrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan رحمة الله عليه beautifully described her rank ,
Noor bint e noor, zawj e noor, umm e noor o noor.
Light is she, the daughter of Light, the wife of Light, the mother of Light and Light.
She is the daughter of the greatest of creation صلى الله عليه وسلم.
The wife of Sayyiduna Ali رضي الله عنه.
The mother of Imam Hasan and Imam Hussain رضي الله عنهما.
May Allah Azza wa Jall fill our hearts with true love for Sayyeda Fathima Zahra رضي الله عنها and the Ahlul Bayt رضي الله عنهم اجمعين.
