Genesis 1
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
You hate what God loves, and you love what God hates, but you still claim to be made in God's image after His likeness. Do you even know what the image is? according to the scripture, the image here means the qualities and characteristics of God. Question: Do you have the same qualities with God, and also does your character match with His
Many people got this whole conception of thinking that everybody was made in God's image, not knowing what we see or read in Gen 1;26 was the plan or idea God had towards mankind, Adam and Eve were the image after His likeness before the fall, but after they were no longer the same
Genesis 5:3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
Why not in God's image after His likeness if everybody is made in His image?
John 8;44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
The only reason they were called this was because of the character, the qualities and the way they operated matched with the devil himself, the same applies when a person calls you a dog it doesn't necessarily means you to have four legs but the character match
John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Your mother gave birth to a flesh, and by this, you may have the characteristics and qualities of one of your relatives it's either from your mother's or father's side, now for you to have the characteristics and qualities of God you got to be born again, b
