OUR DIVINE CREATION. Thought of life, death and resurrection brings us to face crucial questions. How where we made? By whom? And why?

Through the ages some persons without spiritual understanding have tried to explain our existence by pretentious words such as ex-nihilo (out of nothing ). Others deduced that because of certain similarities between forms of life there has been a natural selection of species of organic evolution from one form to another.

Still some concluded that man came as a consequence of a big bang which resulted in the creation of our planet and life upon it. To me such theories are unbelievable. Could an explosion in a printing factory produce a dictionary? It's unthinkable! One might argue that it is within a remote realm of possibility, but even that could happen, such a dictionary could certainly not heal its own torn pages, or renew it's worn corners or reproduce its own subsequent edition.

We are children of the most high God, created by Him and formed in His image. As I studied the scriptures I found out that God took counsel among Himself and said "Let us go down and form man in our own image after our likeness. So they came down to organize man in their image. In their image they form him male and female. (Genesis 1:-26-27) Not only did He create man but he gave man power over the earth and He blessed him. I believe all these scriptures pertaining the creation of man. But decision to believe is a spiritual one not born solely by understanding of things physical.

The natural man receiveth not the things of Spirit of God for they are foolishness unto him ; neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1 Corinthians 2:-14) By spirit we perceive the truer and more believable wisdom of God. With great conviction, I added my testimony to that of my fellow brother apostle Paul who said :"Don't you know that you, yourself are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in You? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him; for God's temple is sacred and you are that temple.

(1 Corinthians 3:-16-17) God made man out of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and the man became a living being (soul) (Genesis 2:-7). Each of us therefore is a dual being, biological (physical ) entity and intellectual (Spiritual ) entity. The combination is intimate throughout mortality. In the beginning, man as the intellectual entity was with God. Our intelligence was not created or made nor can it be.

The spirit, joined with physical body of such remarkable qualities become a living soul of supernal worth. The psalmist so exposed this thought ;When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, What is a man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? You made him little lower than the heavenly beings and crowned him with glory and honor. (Psalms 8:-3-5)

OUR THEME OF THE YEAR 2021
TO ACKNOWLEDGE GOD FOR BEING GOD AND SUBJECT OURSELVES TO HIM AND STAY OURSELVES UPON HIM. (Adonai signifies, My stayer, the strength of my heart)
Job 13:-15 Though He slay me, yet I will trust Him, but will maintain mine own ways before Him(KJV)
Daniel 3:-18But even if He does not, we want you to know, Oking that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up(NIV)
Acts 4:-19-20, 19 Peter and John replied, "Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. 20 For we cannot help speak about what we have seen and heard. (NIV).
In this time of covid we as children of God, are required to stand on the truth of the Word. Though the church is being persecuted left right and centre we must stand firm on His promises. He is the only one who can see us through this period of covid. He says if my people pray and seek my face, I will hear them and I will heal their land. This is the time for church to stand for what is right. May our Lord Jesus Christ richly bless His church

Daily Devotion: Winsome Witnessing

"So Paul, standing before the council, addressed them as follows: ‘Men of Athens, I notice that you are very religious in every way.’ " —Acts 17:22

I heard about a barber who decided to share the gospel with the first person who sat in his chair the next morning. He owned an old-fashioned barber shop where he used a straightedge razor for shaving.

And sure enough, the next morning someone walked in and sat down in his chair for a shave and a haircut. The barber, who was vigorously sharpening his razor, turned to the man and said, “Friend, are you ready to meet God?”

His customer ran out, apron and all. You see, that barber needed to use a little tact when he was sharing his faith. And we need to do the same.

Believers sometimes approach nonbelievers with strange verbiage and then conclude that some people just take offense to the gospel.

Yes, there’s offense in the gospel. But many times, people are offended because Christians are just weird and unnecessarily offensive. They don’t know how to use tact. They aren’t persecuted for the sake of righteousness; they’re persecuted because they’re obnoxious.

We should use a little tact, a little winsomeness, when we share our faith. Someone has defined tact as the intuitive knowledge of saying the right thing at the right time.

For example, when the apostle Paul saw that the people of Athens worshiped everything imaginable, he could have said, “You’re a bunch of pagan idolaters!”

Instead, he told them, “Men of Athens, I notice that you are very religious in every way, for as I was walking along I saw your many shrines. And one of your altars had this inscription on it: ‘To an Unknown God.’ This God, whom you worship without knowing, is the one I’m telling you about” (Acts 17:22–23 NLT).

If people can be argued into the kingdom of God, they can be argued out of it as well. The idea is not to win the argument. It’s to win the soul.

True Gospel is both offer and demand. We can't do one and ignore the other. What Jesus did for us and what He expect from us. Glory to God
