Luke 18:38, 39

And he [Bartimaeus] called out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” [39] Those who led the way were sternly telling him to be quiet; but he kept crying out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!” (NASB)

Earlier in this chapter, Jesus told about the widow and the judge where the widow obtained mercy from the judge because of her persistence, then stated that God would also bring about justice to those who cry out day and night (vv. 1-7).

Bartimaeus knew something about Jesus, as he called out, “Jesus, Son of David,” and, even when told to stop, he persisted in calling out to Jesus. Jesus heard his call and healed his blindness.

When we have an urgent need and need the Lord’s help, if nothing changes immediately, persistence may be needed. Don’t give up. He hears our prayers.

Matthew 22:14
Many are called but few are chosen‼️✨Chosen ones go through the most difficult situations and are constantly in spiritual warfare. The enemy doesn’t want them to really find out who they are in the spirit and hell fears their calling because it will do damage to their kingdom. That’s why they are constantly attacked. They go through life misunderstood because they appear to be different or peculiar. That’s because they are handpicked, are anointed, and the oil that is on their life is hard pressed from the trauma and hardships that they have had to endure. Despite their battles they remain humble and are able to be empathetic towards others because they have been through similar struggles and can give advice on how to get through certain situations. They are the role models, the trend setters, the vessels of God that shine their light in the darkest of places. Even though they endure a lot of unfortunate circumstances they come out unscathed because God’s hand is upon their lives and they have an army of angels walking with them at all times. God isn’t done with you yet, he built you to be a warrior. You gotta keep pushing no matter how hard it gets. There will be a point in your life where you will pass the test and things will turn around for you because of your obedience and faith. Keep fighting, keep running you never know who you are inspiring and who is watching you in your journey of life. Remember you represent the kingdom of God and you might be the only representation of Jesus (Yahshua) in other peoples lives that don’t know him yet. 🙏🏾

THE END TIMES

[10] At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, [11] and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. [12] Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, [13] but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. [14] And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
[34] Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. [35] Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

WHERE IS YOUR FAITH

[23] As they sailed, he fell asleep. A squall came down on the lake, so that the boat was being swamped, and they were in great danger. [24] The disciples went and woke him, saying, “Master, Master, we’re going to drown!” He got up and rebuked the wind and the raging waters; the storm subsided, and all was calm. [25] “Where is your faith?” he asked his disciples. In fear and amazement they asked one another, “Who is this? He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey him.”

GOD IS OMNIPRESENT

Jehovah is everywhere and watching us everytime. The challenges you face and circumstances around you do not define who you are and your destiny. Even if you are a product of r**e, rejected, unplanned, disappointment, dismantled family, abused, betrayed, divorced, remember that God is and was there when all that took place. Don't cry for being alone in your challenges, God has greater and bigger plans than humans can envisaged about your life. The Psalmist King David says:-"‭Psalms 139:13-17 NIV‬
[13] For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. [14] I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. [15] My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. [16] Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. [17] How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
Be greatful to God because you are alive and well. Even for the great gift God gave you 'BREATH OF LIFE'. Have faith God will never let you down. Amen

[13] Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon-possessed. They would say, “In the name of the Jesus whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” [14] Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. [15] One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know about, but who are you?” [16] Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. WHO TO FEAR?

[5] But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him. [6] Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten by God.
