“Uya zimisela na ngoku ukuyivuma inkolo yakho kuKristu ekruseshiwe, uze ngokhalipho ulwe phantsi kwebhanile yakhe, ulwe nelizwe, nenyama, nomtyholi, uze ube ngumkhonzi onyanisekileyo kaKristu kuse ekupheleni kobomi bakho?”
15 men and women answered this question affirmatively as they were received as full members of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa, in the Dimbaza Society. As they were dislocated elsewhere, they were relocated and repositioned for Mission and Ministry.
They endured the journey of being shaped and taught what it means not only to be full members of the MCSA, but disciples of Christ.
The Superintendent Minister, Rev. A. Tomsana, delivered a profound charge to them using the text found in Matthew 9:13 and reads, “But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
May God’s everlasting love and superabundant grace continue to protect, mould and empower them on their new journey.
Liyakhula ibandla lika Kristu, not only in numbers but ekumazeni nasekumthembeni uThixo.
