Young People Divine Service | 2 August 2026
On Sunday, 2 August 2026, the Young People of Hex River Congregation combined with the Young People of Sandhills Congregation for a live audio-visual broadcast of the Young People Divine Service, conducted by District Apostle Peter Lambert.
The divine service was based on Colossians 3:12 (NKJV):
“Therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, and longsuffering.”
During the divine service, Apostle Gavin Van Der Hoven was called to serve alongside the District Apostle, making this a memorable and blessed occasion.
The message reminded us that, as God's chosen people, we are called to reflect the character of Christ through compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. These virtues beautifully echoed the spirit of , encouraging us to put on the garments of Christ and to live lives filled with love, mercy, grace, and gratitude.
As young people, we were inspired to live our faith boldly, glorify God through our words and actions, and continually declare, "Thank You, Lord!"
Following the divine service, we enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship—sharing joyful moments, capturing memories, and reflecting on the abundant blessings God has bestowed throughout the week. Our unity in Christ continues to strengthen our faith and our commitment to serving Him together.
May we continue to walk as faithful ambassadors of Jesus Christ, allowing His light to shine through us and sharing His love wherever we go.
"Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven." — Matthew 5:16
To God alone be all the glory! 🙏
