Young People’s Divine Service

District Rector Anthony Hermanus led the Young People’s Divine Service at the Nonzwakazi congregation on Sunday, 15 February 2026. Young people from Britstown, Montana, De Aar, and Hanover attended the service, together with their ministers. He was accompanied by PR September Tromp, rector of Hanover, PR Bernard Isaacs, rector of Britstown, as well as the ministers from Montana, De Aar, and Nonzwakazi.

The service was based on Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.”

Jayda Moses presented the Scripture reading.

The newly confirmed young members were also present and were formally introduced and welcomed into the youth group. The District Rector encouraged them to stay faithful, remember their confirmation vows, and actively participate in future youth activities.

PR Bernard Isaacs, rector of Britstown, assisted in serving during the service. After the conclusion of the divine service, everyone shared a light meal and enjoyed fellowship. The group eagerly anticipates their next gathering.

Great was the anticipation for the visit of Apostle Terence Nene to the congregation. The Sunday school children together with the adult choir provided a beautiful atmosphere before and during the service with their music performance.
