Devotional:06Jan26!
Good morning.
Theme: βWhen Chaos Arrives, It Demands Leadership β Are You the One Who Will Fill the Gap?β
π We read Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV
):
βSo I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.β
- Chaos is rarely the absence of people ~ it is often the absence of responsibility.
- When systems fail, values erode, and confusion spreads,
- God does not first look for explanations; He looks for availability.
- He looks for someone willing to stand firm when others step back.
- Leadership in times of chaos is not about position, rank, or recognition.
- It is about moral courage, spiritual clarity, and a willingness to act when silence would be easier.
- God still seeks those who will βstand in the gapβ ~ people who will pray, speak truth, serve faithfully, and bring order where disorder threatens to rule.
- The question remains deeply personal: when chaos demands leadership, will you wait for someone else ~ or will you step forward in obedience?
π Prayer:
Lord God Almighty,
In a world shaken by uncertainty and confusion, we hear Your call. Give us courage to stand where others retreat, wisdom to lead with humility,
and strength to act with integrity. Teach us to be faithful gap-fillers ~
people of prayer, conviction, and compassion. May we bring Your peace into chaos, Your order into confusion,
and Your light into dark places. Use us, Lord, for Your purposes, and let our lives testify that when chaos called,
we answered in obedience.
Amen.
