The msg translation

We all show the glory of God
It's not about the singer, the captain or the Guardian
- the gospel is not there to show us off, but it's about his glory
- there is no name, power, galaxy governance that is exempt from Christ's rule
- man is not the scented of everything, Christ is the centre
- man likes everything to be about him, but that is not God's Way
- When God created everything, it was all for Christ

At the center of this - Christ rules the church

Nobody can touch you until Christ says so
It's not because you studied or work well- but it's because Christ

It's not because of a powerful pastor, but it's because of a powerful God

- you are special to God, you are import to God but you are not the center of everything in God
- if our comfort was God's priority we would be comfortable ; but God's priority is not your comfort
- if God existed to please us, we would always be pleased
- get of the chair that makes you think you are great

Ruth 4:10-12 - the lessons we've learnt about choices from Ruth

God will look out for you - shebeling God

- Any choice that you make, has its consequences
- heaven and earth will testify against you on what you have chosen
- God gives us the ability to chose
- any time you choose not to choose, you've already chosen
- choose someone that God has a plan for
- choices determine their own consequences, the consequences of your choice are already fixed
- make the right choice

It's a choice to live in harmony or not,
It's your choice to come to church or not
It's your choice to be saved or not

Ruth chose to go with naomi
- she could have chosen to worship false gods
- you have to decide whether or not to believe the authority of God's word that will determine where which you go
- if you decide to mess up God's things, you're own your own
- in the house of God there will be people that will upset you but choose forgive
- win this life you need 'sorry : sooner or later you will mess up and must ask for forgiveness
- with the things that you've done, do you still have the love of the Lord towards people
- chose whom you shall serve, either you will serve something or be served
- you were give the right to choose which then has its end result

You're allowed to make wrong choices, but you won't choose the output

It is a blessing if you obey, and a curse when you disobey
Peoples wrong decisions may be used by God to benefit you
Everything you need is in God, you need to be found in Christ

Good choices are paid for in advance, bad decisions are paid for later on

John 17v11, mark 3v24 , Ephesians 4v1
-
- Jesus prayed for all that would believe
- the church is where Jesus is
- the church comprised of living stones
- Jesus church is held by the bounds of love
- Jesus wants his church to be One church
- the whole body has to work together
- coordination yields results
- Jesus never prays vain prayer's
- the prayer of Jesus was answered in his disciples. Acts 1
-if you have the word , you ultimately have Jesus there with you
- We may have a lot of desires but not the power to do so
- the love of Christ that restores and never forsakes
- we are not a crowd in Jesus , we are individuals and deals with us in such
- Peter do you love me?! Though Peter denied Christ thrice ,
- Jesus qualifies us
His favor lasts for a lifetime
- we need to be instruments that bring life to others ( evangelize)
- Gos knows how to do it , dot it the way He wants
- a time of waiting ( go and wait in Jerusalem until) but also pray with expectation
- Jesus gave the instruction , and everything he said was fulfilled
- on the day of Pentecost they gathered together because of what Jesus said .

1 Corinthians 12:12-27

- God arranged the members
- we are the body of the Lord Jesus, everyone is important
- each has a part to play
- even weaker vessels are loved , saved and are righteous though weaker
- it is by Christ righteousness that we stand
- we have members that are not respectable, but they are in the house; they are valuable
- unpresentable, to be treated
- God loved us in our sin
- God's love, loves the unlovable (Agape)

- presentable parts - that are beautiful (both inside and out)
- God gives greater honor those no so unrespectable members
- if you wanna see change in people love them
- show compassion to all members in the church/household
- When one member is in despair, all are in despair
- Love one another, don't gossip against each other
- we speak positively to all members and of the church
- speak life, healing and blessings, coz we are one
- let there be no division in the church (unity)
- pursue unity, pray for unity even with weaker and unpleasant people
- Love covers a multitude of sin
- unity has a spiritual force
- unity speaks to all those around, it's a attractive
- United we stand, divided we fall
- all parts need each other, complete; don't compete with one another
- acknowledge that individuals are different
- When you hate you lose joy in your life (dryness)
- confess with love and your will be restored.
- deal with your heart so that you do good towards others
- guard against disunity -
- be diligence in serving, don't chase positions

Luke 18v1-8 (Pray)

- Dont stop praying, be persistent
- Prayer is powerful to change any situation
- God is just, He will hear you
- Don't get discouraged, if it didnt happen last time. Pray again, it'll happen
- if the elect pray, God will answer SPEEDILY
- God can do it, He can heal, He can promote
- dont take prayer for granted
- dont be a soldier who doesnt practice his trade
- talk to God , make time and see if the Lord will not do
- if you stop praying you'll start looking for things that arent faith based

- will He find faith when He returns?
