Humble yourself before God, and He will guide your steps.

18/06/2026

The message "God Lifts the Humble" teaches that God honors people who depend on Him instead of exalting themselves.
πŸ“– Proverbs 16:18 says: "Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall."
What is humility?
Humility is not thinking less of yourself; it is recognizing that everything you have comes from God. A humble person trusts God, listens to correction, and gives God the glory.
What is pride?
Pride says:
"I don't need God."
"I know better than everyone."
"I deserve all the credit."
The Bible shows that pride often leads to downfall because it causes people to ignore God's guidance.
Examples in the Bible
1. King Nebuchadnezzar (Daniel 4) He became proud and took credit for his kingdom. God humbled him until he acknowledged that God is the true ruler. After he humbled himself, God restored him.
2. Joseph Joseph remained humble through slavery and prison. In God's time, he was lifted from prison to become a ruler in Egypt.
3. Jesus Christ Though He is the Son of God, Jesus humbled Himself and obeyed the Father. God highly exalted Him. (Philippians 2:8-9)
How God lifts the humble
He gives them wisdom.
He opens doors at the right time.
He promotes them when they are ready.
He gives them favor with Him and with people.
God's lifting may not happen immediately, but it comes in His perfect timing.
Application
Ask yourself:
Do I depend on God daily?
Am I willing to learn and be corrected?
Do I give God the glory for my success?
Prayer
Heavenly Father, keep my heart humble before You. Help me to trust Your timing and not seek my own glory. Teach me to walk in obedience, knowing that in Your perfect time You lift those who humble themselves before You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Key lesson: Pride tries to lift itself and falls. Humility waits on God and is lifted by Him. πŸ™πŸΏ

πŸ“– Hebrews 13:5
"Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, β€˜I will never leave you nor forsake you.’"
🌿 YOU ARE NEVER ALONE 🌿
In a world that constantly tells us to chase more, achieve more, and possess more, God's Word calls us to a different way of livingβ€”one of contentment and trust.
Hebrews 13:5 reminds us that true security is not found in wealth, possessions, or status. These things can change in a moment. Our greatest treasure is the presence of God. The Lord has given a promise that no circumstance can cancel: "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
When financial pressures arise, He is with you. When you face disappointment, He is with you. When others walk away, He is with you. In moments of loneliness, uncertainty, and struggle, God's presence remains constant.
Contentment does not mean we stop working toward our goals. It means we trust that God is enough while we wait, work, and walk by faith. A heart at rest in God's promises is richer than a heart filled with endless desires.
Today, take comfort in this truth: you may not have everything you want, but if you have God's presence, you have everything you need to face whatever comes your way.
πŸ™ Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your promise that You will never leave us nor forsake us. Teach us to be content in You and to trust Your provision in every season. Help us to find our peace and security in Your presence rather than in the things of this world. Strengthen our faith and remind us daily that we are never alone. In Jesus' name, Amen.
✨ Reflection:
God's presence is the greatest blessing you can possess. Trust Him, rest in Him, and walk confidently knowing He is always by your side.

πŸ“– Psalm 37:25 (KJV)
"I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread."
🌿 GOD'S FAITHFULNESS THROUGH EVERY SEASON 🌿
David spoke these words after a lifetime of walking with God. He had experienced victories and failures, joy and sorrow, abundance and hardship. Yet when he looked back over the years, one truth stood firm: God never abandoned His people.
There are moments when life feels uncertain. Bills pile up, prayers seem unanswered, and challenges appear overwhelming. But Psalm 37:25 reminds us that God's faithfulness is not measured by our circumstances. The Lord remains our Provider, Protector, and Sustainer even when the road is difficult.
Being righteous does not mean living a trouble-free life. It means belonging to God and trusting Him through every season. The same God who carried you yesterday will carry you today and lead you into tomorrow.
If you are facing a struggle right now, do not give up. God's timing is perfect, His promises are sure, and His care for His children never fails. Hold on to your faith, continue to seek Him, and trust that He is working even when you cannot see it.
πŸ™ Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing faithfulness. Help us to trust You in every season of life. Strengthen those who are weary, provide for those in need, and remind us that You never forsake Your children. In Jesus' name, Amen.
✨ Today, remember: God's faithfulness has no expiration date. He has been faithful in the past, He is faithful today, and He will be faithful tomorrow.
