1.Excellence requires faithfulness in small things .
>God promotes those who are consistent with little responsibilities.
1.Faithfulness is hidden work-God sees what others overlook ( Luke 16:10 ).
2.Faithful in time management-Valuing and redeeming time ( Ephesians 5:15-16 ).
3.Faithful in stewardship-Using God’s resources wisely ( 1 Corinthians 4:2 ).

2.Excellenceis revealed through Christlike character.
>Character sustains excellence when gifts open doors.
1.Walking in love -Love is the highest expression of excellence.( 1 Corinthians 13:1-3 ).
2.Producing the full of the spirit-Evidence of maturity .( Galatians 5:22-23 ).
3.Living a holy life -Set apart for God.( 1 Peter 1:15-16 ).

3. Excellence demands consistency.
• Consistency turns good intentions into godly results.
1. Consistent obedience- Faithful in all seasons. (Joshua 1:8)
2. Consistent service- Steadfast in
God's work. (1 Corinthians 15:58)
3. Consistent faith-Trusting Goa continually. (Hebrews 10:23).

4.Excellence produces fruitfulness.
• Excellence is validated by results that glorify God.
1. Fruit that remains- Lasting impact.
(John 15:16)
2. Fruit in good works- Reflecting Christ.
(Colossians 1:10)
3. Fruit in souls- Winning Oiler to Christ.
(Proverbs 11:30).

5.Excellence prepares us for eternal reward
• Our earthly excellence has eternal significance.
1. Living with eternity in mind- Running to win. (1 Corinthians 9:25)
2.Faithfulness rewarded by God- "Well done". (Matthew 25:21)
3. Crowns laid before Chrisi All glory to Him. (Revelation 4:10-11).

Title: Gifts and Fruit:
Power vs. character.
KEY TEXTS:1 CORINTHIANS 12
GALATIANS 5:22-23.

Point 1: Source- where they come from
A. Gifts are given by the Holy spirit -
1 Corinthians 12:4.
B.Fruit grows from abiding in Christ-
John 15:5.
C.Gifts are distributed; fruit Is cultivated- Romans 12:3.

Point 2: Purpose- why they exist.
A. Gifts are for ministry and service-Corinthians 12:7.
B.Fruit is for Christilke living -John
15:16.
C.Gifts build the church; fruit glorifies God- John 15:8.

Point 3:Development- how they grow.
A. Gifts are received instantly- 1
Timothy 4:14.
B.Fruit develops over time-
Galatians 5:22-23.
C.Fruit requires discipline and obedience- Galations 6:9.

Point 4: Measure- how God avaluates them.
A.Gifts can operate without spirtual maturity- 1 Corinthians 1:7 & 3:1.
B.Fruit reflects spiritual maturity-
Hebrews 5:14.
C.Love is the ultimate measure- 1
Corinthians 13:1-3.

Point 5: Duration- how long they last.
A. Gifts will cease- 1 Corinthians
13:8.
B. Fruit remains forever- 1 John
2:17.
C.God looks for fruit at judgment- Matthew 7:19-20.
