“The Word of God brings light, understanding, and strength to our lives. Romans 10:17 teaches us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. As believers, it is our responsibility to protect our faith by continually feeding on the Word, especially when we face challenges, trials, and temptations. In Luke 22:31–32, Jesus reveals how the enemy desired to test Peter’s faith, but Jesus prayed that his faith would not fail. This teaches us that the enemy is not only interested in what we possess but also in weakening our trust in God. Therefore, when storms arise, we must remember God’s Word and refuse to surrender our faith to temporary situations.

As believers, we must never allow our circumstances to change our confession or turn our hearts into places of complaint. Even when things do not go according to our expectations, we must continue trusting in God’s promises and remain steadfast in faith. The enemy may use temptations, fear, and difficulties to distract us from God’s purpose, but we must remember that pleasing God requires faith (Hebrews 11:6). Just as Moses encouraged the Israelites to stand firm and witness the salvation of the Lord in Exodus 14:13, we must learn to stand on God’s Word rather than surrender to fear. Your situation may challenge your faith, but it must never determine what you believe about God.”-Evangelist Fhulufelo
