This past Saturday, Midstream came together for Street Store 2026 - a free pop-up clothing store with a difference, where guests are welcomed not as recipients of a handout but as shoppers, browsing the rails and choosing their own outfits with the help of volunteer personal shoppers, so that everyone leaves with a full bag and their dignity intact.

In one day, more than 2,000 lives were touched by the Street Store. Apart from the Street Store, the clothing was also distributed to various schools, children's homes, NPOs, churches, and the Thembisa community.

This was a true Midstream community effort - schools, local shops, churches and volunteers all giving their Saturday, their wardrobes and their hearts. To every donor and volunteer: thank you for reflecting such love to so many.

Last night, 2,200 people went to sleep a little warmer.

What a privilege to host our annual Street Store outreach and witness the generosity, compassion, and love of so many people coming together to serve others. Every item of clothing shared was a reminder that dignity, hope, and kindness can make a real difference.
