I am beginning to think that a zealous belief in Hell (at least as comprising some form of eternal conscious torment) is perhaps the purest form of Hell itself.

To believe, without remorse or reconsideration, that our beloved Abba is capable of eternally torturing any His children FOREVER, even the worst prodigals, shows such a dark disregard for God's irrepressible love that I can only gasp.

Such an unthinkable idea seems to me to be the very essence of Hell itself.

Believing in this type of Hell IS itself a form of Hell.

The Bible is a supplement to the Holy Spirit, not vice versa.

The Bible is not God.

The Holy Spirit is.

The children of God are not those who are led by the Bible. “The children of God are those who are led by the Spirit of God.” Romans 8:14.

Jesus jaw-droppingly said that the Sabbath was made for man, NOT man for the Sabbath, and that He Himself was, in fact, the Lord of the Sabbath.

In other words, what Jesus says goes. The law serves God. God doesn't serve the law. Jesus is the interpretive trump card over all Scripture-- only, always and exclusively!

Humans are to be the primary carriers of the Gospel, with Scriptures playing a helpful but still secondary role.

Many, however, fail to realize that humans are called, before anything else, to be the carriers of God's pocket presence, not merely carriers of pocket Bibles.

God was never fully revealed in the Old Testament. Jesus reveals the Father to us. When we see the Father we see the image that we are made in.

When we see the Father we can therefore understand that we are all his children. He would not be our Heavenly Father if we weren't his children.

We will never understand our true identities until we understand that we are all one in Jesus Christ. We are not be- coming like Him but we are starting to see how much like Him we already are.

Our true identities did not begin in the first Adam they began in the last Adam. Christ was the last Adam. Jesus said the first will be last and the last will be first.

Many of our struggles can be attributed to trying to source our real self in the first Adam instead of in Jesus. When we do this we are being carnally minded and resisting God.

Your life is hid with Christ in God and every time He is revealed you are revealed with Him. Creation is groaning in expectation of our full revelation as sons of God.

I pray this helps you to understand a little bit more of how great your Heavenly Father is.

The adversary is the father of lies not because he fabricates things. He tells truth — accurate, evidence-based, documented truth — from a realm that is no longer your operative reality. He is a reporter from the wrong address. The issue is not whether his evidence is real. The issue is whether that realm still has jurisdiction over you.

I'm so glad Jesus came to reveal God to us as He truly is. Imagine we only knew God through the lens of the law and the prophets in the Old Covenant.
