Title: Church Growth by Marvelous Helpers

The growth of the church is not achieved by human effort alone but through the divine assistance of “marvelous helpers” who are sent by God. Drawing from scriptures across both Old and New Testaments, he highlighted how God raises helpers — spiritual and human — to strengthen His work and advance His kingdom.

Key Message:
• Church growth is a collective effort, which is sustained by God’s marvelous provision of helpers.
• Believers are called to recognize, honor, and partner with these helpers, while also being willing vessels.
• Ultimately, as Matthew 16:18 declares, it is Christ who builds His church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it.

This sermon challenges us, as the church to depend on God’s supernatural help, to value the diverse contributions of members, and to remain steadfast in building together under the leadership of Christ.

Leadership is the Foundation for Growth

Our Conference kicked off with a message by our esteemed guest preacher, Rev. Elton Tirivokunze which reminded us that lasting church growth doesn't happen by chance, but it begins with strong, Godly leadership.

Our level of growth is determined by our level of understanding. Such sustainable growth requires both the natural and the supernatural to work together.

This growth happens in various ways, such as:
- Growth in levels
- Growth in phases
- Growth in dimensions
- Growth in Realms

A church can never grow beyond the capacity of its leadership. That's why God calls leaders who:

• Value preparation
• Walk closely with Jesus
• Are filled with the Holy Spirit
• And have a mindset to serve and work diligently

Growth + preparation = sustainable growth

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase. So, then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase." – 1 Corinthians 3:6-7

"Let Go of Yesterday, Lead Tomorrow"

On Sunday, 12 July, we were blessed with a word from Apostle Dr. Enoch Sitima, where we were reminded that our past does not define our future. Through God's unchanging Word, we are encouraged to let go of yesterday's disappointments, trust His Promises and to boldly step into the purpose He has prepared for us.

Much like Joshua, we are called to be courageous and move forward.
And like Peter, we are reminded that our past failures can become tomorrow's testimony when we obey God's voice.

May we embrace the abundant life that Christ has promised us and to lead tomorrow with faith, hope, and love.

Isaiah 43:18-19
"Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
