STEPPING BOLDY INTO THE NEW

Every new year arrives with a mixture of excitement and uncertainty. It places before us unfamiliar paths, unanswered questions, and opportunities we have never explored. While the unknown can feel intimidating, it is often the very place where growth is born. Comfort zones may feel safe, but they rarely stretch us into who we are meant to become.

Growth demands courage. It asks us to release fear, silence doubt, and embrace change even when the outcome is unclear. Choosing courage does not mean the absence of fear; it means deciding that fear will not have the final say. When we step forward despite uncertainty, we open ourselves to learning, transformation, and new strength.

Faith also plays a vital role in stepping into the new. Faith reminds us that every season has a purpose, even when we cannot fully see it. It teaches us to trust the process—trust that every step, every delay, and every challenge is shaping us for something greater. With faith, we understand that we are not walking alone, and that our journey has meaning beyond what is immediately visible.

A new year is not just a change in time; it is an invitation. An invitation to grow, to heal, to dream again, and to move forward with intention. As we step boldly into the new, we choose courage over fear and faith over hesitation. We commit to trusting the journey, believing that the purpose ahead is worth every step we take.

This year, we move forward—not perfectly, but bravely. And in that boldness, we discover the growth we’ve been waiting for.

Happy New Year 2026💥💥🎉🎉🎉🎉

In 1 Samuel 16:7, God says, “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

FEASTING, FASHION, AND FAITH: WHAT TRULY MATTERS?

In today’s world, celebration is loud. Social media is filled with pictures of lavish feasts, designer outfits, perfect smiles, and well-curated moments. There’s nothing wrong with enjoying good food, dressing well, or celebrating milestones. God is not against joy or beauty. However, the real question is this: what truly matters to God?

The Bible reminds us that there is a difference between outward celebration and inward devotion.

This statement cuts deep in a generation that often prioritizes appearance over character. We live in a time where people are judged by what they wear, where they go, and how well they can impress others. Yet God is not moved by fashion labels, makeup, or public applause. He looks beyond the surface—into motives, intentions, humility, and obedience.

Jesus also addresses misplaced priorities in Matthew 6:19–21:
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
This scripture challenges us to examine where our energy, money, and passion are going. Are we investing more in temporary pleasures than in eternal values? Are we more concerned about looking successful than becoming spiritually rich? Earthly treasures fade—clothes wear out, food is consumed, trends change—but what we build in God lasts forever.

Furthermore, Romans 14:17 reminds us:
“For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
Faith is not defined by parties, ceremonies, or outward religious activities. It is defined by a transformed life. God’s kingdom is not about how extravagant our celebrations are, but about how Christ-like our hearts have become. Righteousness speaks of right living, peace reflects our relationship with God and others, and joy flows from the Holy Spirit—not from material excess.

This doesn’t mean Christians should reject celebrations or enjoyment. Rather, it means we must not replace devotion with display. Feasting should not overshadow faith. Fashion should not become our identity. Public appearance should never replace private obedience.

In a world chasing validation, God is calling us back to sincerity. He desires hearts that love Him genuinely, lives that reflect His truth, and faith that goes beyond the surface. When the music fades, the food is finished, and the outfits are put away—what remains is the state of our hearts.

Let us enjoy life, but never at the expense of our devotion. Let us celebrate, but with gratitude and humility. And above all, let us remember that what truly matters is not what people see on the outside, but what God sees within.

Lamentations 3:37 says, “Who is he that saith, and it cometh to pass, when the Lord commandeth it not?” This scripture reminds us that the authority of God’s word is supreme and no plan or word of man can override His decision.
============================================================================

GOD HAS THE FINAL SAY!

The truth of life is that God has the final say over every situation. In our world today, many voices rise daily—voices of men, voices of circumstances, voices of fear, and even voices of the enemy. People may pronounce judgments, doctors may give reports, leaders may issue decrees, and adversaries may speak negatively, but none of these words can stand if God has not commanded it.

The sovereignty of God is unchallengeable. He rules in the affairs of men, and no human opinion or declaration can alter what He has decreed. Pharaoh, with all his power, declared that Israel would never leave Egypt, but when God arose, his words fell to the ground. Balak hired Balaam to curse Israel, but Balaam was forced to admit, “How shall I curse whom God hath not cursed?” (Numbers 23:8). Joseph’s brothers thought they had determined his future by selling him into slavery, but God turned their evil into a pathway for his destiny. Even death does not have the final say. When Lazarus had been in the grave for four days, everyone thought it was over, but Jesus called him forth, proving that not even the grave can silence God’s voice.

This truth should give every believer confidence. What men say about you is not the end of your story. What situations declare over you is not the final word. God alone has the power to bring to pass what He has spoken, and His word stands forever. When you receive a report from the doctor, remember that it is only a report; the verdict belongs to God. When enemies rise against you and plot evil, remember that unless God permits it, their efforts will fail. When life looks hopeless and people say it is over, know that God says it is not yet over until He declares it so.

As Isaiah 55:11 tells us, God’s word never returns void but always accomplishes His purpose. That means every promise He has spoken concerning you must come to pass. His word is stronger than the voice of men, deeper than the counsel of enemies, and more powerful than the limitations of circumstances. Therefore, as a child of God, your hope should rest firmly in Him. He is the One who begins and finishes, the Alpha and Omega, and the One whose word cannot be reversed.

In conclusion, the final authority over your life is not in the hands of men but in the hands of God. The opinions of people may rise and fall, situations may change, and challenges may come and go, but God’s declaration remains forever. Trust Him, rest in His promises, and walk with the assurance that no one can say a thing and make it come to pass unless the Lord has declared it. Truly, God has the final say.

Esther 2 vs 7:
“Mordecai had a cousin named Hadassah… and he had brought her up because she had neither father nor mother. Mordecai had taken her as his own daughter…”

Mordecai: A Rare Character for Such a Time as This

In the pages of the Bible, certain individuals stand out not because they held great power or performed miracles, but because of their quiet strength, wisdom, and integrity. One such rare character is Mordecai from the Book of Esther. Though his name may not be as widely recognized as Abraham or Moses, Mordecai’s life speaks volumes about godly values and provides timeless lessons worth emulating.

Mordecai was a Jew living in exile in Persia, and despite being far from his homeland, he remained deeply committed to his faith and his people. When his cousin Esther was left an orphan, Mordecai took her in and raised her as his own daughter. This act of compassion and responsibility speaks of a man who valued family and understood the importance of care and commitment. His loyalty did not end with Esther. While working at the king’s gate, he overheard a plot to assassinate the king and took action by reporting it. Though his efforts were initially overlooked, he didn’t seek praise or recognition—he simply did what was right.

Mordecai’s wisdom is evident throughout the story. When Esther was chosen to be queen, he advised her not to reveal her Jewish identity. This decision showed foresight and a deep understanding of timing and discretion. When the lives of the Jews were later threatened by Haman, a powerful and wicked official, Mordecai did not panic. Instead, he mourned, prayed, and encouraged Esther to take a stand, reminding her that perhaps she had been placed in her royal position “for such a time as this.” His trust in God’s providence and his calm leadership in a moment of crisis are admirable.

One of the most striking moments in Mordecai’s life was his refusal to bow to Haman. This act was not born out of arrogance, but out of conviction. Mordecai stood firm in what he believed, even when it put his life in danger. He chose to honor God over pleasing people, and that choice ultimately played a key role in exposing Haman’s evil plot. In the end, God elevated Mordecai. The king who once overlooked him ordered that he be honored publicly. Later, Mordecai was promoted to a high position in the kingdom, second only to the king. Yet even with all his influence, Mordecai remained humble, using his authority to protect his people and promote peace.

Mordecai’s life is a quiet reminder that greatness is not always loud or showy. His faithfulness, courage, humility, and wisdom make him a rare character whose example still speaks to us today. In a world that often rewards ambition and self-promotion, Mordecai shows us the power of doing right, standing firm, and trusting in God’s perfect timing. His life proves that when we honor God in the shadows, He can lift us up in the light.

2 Timothy 3:1–5 (ESV), Apostle Paul writes,
“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless… having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.”

The Current Decadence in Society: A Biblical Perspective

In today’s world, the moral compass of society seems to be spinning without direction. The foundation of decency and godliness that once guided communities is quickly eroding. Acts of violence, sexual immorality, dishonesty, greed, and self-centeredness are no longer seen as shocking—they have become normalized, even celebrated in some circles. This shift in values and behavior reflects a deep and growing decadence that has gripped our generation.

Decadence is more than just moral failure; it is a collapse of the principles that uphold human dignity and godly living. It is when a society turns away from what is right and begins to glorify what is wrong. In this age, truth has become relative, and anything that calls for discipline, restraint, or righteousness is seen as outdated or judgmental. Many have traded the fear of God for the praise of men, and the result is a culture that is decaying from within.

In many places, we see how materialism has replaced contentment, and popularity has replaced integrity. Leaders who are meant to uphold justice and inspire morality often fall short due to selfish ambition. The family unit, which was once the bedrock of society, is under intense attack. Parents are burdened, children are left unguided, and many homes are filled with strife and confusion. Even within the Church, we sometimes find compromise as the desire to remain popular waters down the message of truth.

Yet, even in such a time, God has not called His people to retreat or conform. He calls us to stand firm, to be light in the darkness and salt in a tasteless world. As believers, our response to the decadence around us should not be fear or silence, but a renewed commitment to live out the Gospel with boldness and love. Our lives should reflect integrity, purity, and compassion. We must return to God’s Word as our ultimate guide and hold on to the standards He has set—not just for our own sake, but for the sake of future generations.

In Psalm 11:3 (KJV), the psalmist asks, “If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” The answer is that we must rebuild. We must restore what has been lost by teaching truth, loving our neighbors, raising godly children, and shining as lights in a crooked world.

The decadence we see today is not the end of the story. It is a call to action. It is a reminder that the world needs the influence of people who are grounded in righteousness, not swayed by trends. We are that people. And this is our time to rise.
