Thank You for an Amazing Week!

We’ve finished Child Protection Week, and we just want to thank everyone who made it happen. We thank the churches, the parents, and especially the children and educators who joined us. Let’s keep working together to protect our children every day!

Day 8: Child Protection Week

Every Child is Valued

Each child is a unique gift from God, fearfully and wonderfully made. Every child deserves to be loved, respected, protected, and given the attention they need to grow with confidence and dignity.

As we continue to stand for child protection, let us remember that valuing children means listening to them, caring for them, guiding them, and creating safe spaces where they can flourish.

“I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.” — Psalm 139:14

Day 7: Child Protection Week

Every Child Has a God-Given Purpose

As we close Child Protection Week, we are reminded that every child matters and every child carries a God-given purpose. No matter their background, circumstances, or challenges, each child deserves love, protection, encouragement, and hope for the future.

Let us continue to invest in our children, protect them, guide them, and create safe spaces where they can grow into the purpose God has placed in them.

“For I know the plans I have for you... plans to give you hope and a future.” — Jeremiah 29:11

// DAY 5 | Child Protection Week 2026 🌿

Strong families help build safe children. 🤍

One of the most powerful ways to protect children is to support the families they belong to. When parents and caregivers are equipped, encouraged, and supported, children are more likely to grow up in stable, nurturing, and protective environments.

This Child Protection Week, let us support, encourage, and strengthen families wherever we can. 👏✝️

Day 6 Child Protection Week

Listening to Children

Every child deserves to be heard, valued, and understood. When we take time to listen to children, we help them feel safe, loved, and respected.

Listening is one of the ways we show children that their voices matter. It builds trust, strengthens relationships, and helps us understand their needs, feelings, and experiences.

Let us create homes, churches, and communities where children are welcomed, heard, and guided with love.

“Let the little children come to me.”
Matthew 19:14

Day 5 Child Protection Week

Guiding with Love and Boundaries – Pastor Mhlanga

Children need love, but they also need clear guidance and healthy boundaries. Discipline is not about fear or harshness, it is about helping children grow in wisdom, responsibility, and confidence.

When we guide children with love, patience, and consistency, we create a safe environment where they feel secure and valued.

Let us train, correct, and encourage our children in a way that reflects the heart of Christ.

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
Proverbs 22:6

// DAY 4 | Child Protection Week 2026 🌿

Some children are fighting silent battles every single day. 🤍

Across South Africa, many children face realities no child should ever have to endure:
• Abuse
• Neglect
• Hunger
• Violence
• Trauma
• Unsafe homes

Often, the pain children carry is hidden behind silence, fear, or behaviour they may not yet have the words to explain.

This is why awareness matters. This is why speaking up matters. This is why protection matters.

Every child should grow up in an environment where they feel safe, seen, loved, and protected. 🌱 Let us choose to pay attention, to listen, and to stand up for vulnerable children in our communities.

Day 4 Child Protection Week

Every child deserves a safe space where they are protected, valued, heard, and loved.

Children grow best when they feel secure. As families, churches, educators, and communities, we have a responsibility to create environments where children can learn, worship, play, and develop without fear.

May our homes, churches, and ministries reflect the safety and love of God.

“The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.”
Proverbs 18:10
