Dare to Care Youth Week

The Dare to Care Youth Week was a meaningful and enriching week dedicated to encouraging young people to live out Christ's love through compassion, service, and unity. Throughout the week, the youth participated in various activities designed to strengthen their faith, build lasting fellowship, and inspire them to make a positive difference in their congregations and communities by caring for others.

The week culminated in a blessed Divine Service at the Saxonsea Congregation. The District Apostle Peter Lambert delivered an inspiring message, encouraging the youth to embrace the spirit of caring, to remain rooted in Christ, and to become ambassadors of His love in their daily lives. He reminded them that every act of kindness, no matter how small, reflects the heart of God and has the power to transform lives.

The Divine Service was filled with heartfelt worship, joyful singing, and a deep sense of unity as the youth gathered in fellowship. The atmosphere reflected the blessings experienced throughout the week, leaving everyone spiritually renewed and motivated to continue living the "Dare to Care" message beyond the event.

The success of the Youth Week was made possible through the commitment of the District leadership, ministers, youth leaders, volunteers, and all who contributed their time and talents. It was a memorable week that strengthened faith, fostered unity, and inspired the youth to continue serving God and caring for others with love and humility.

The Thursday Divine Service was a blessed and uplifting occasion, filled with the presence of God and the working of the Holy Spirit.

The service was conducted by Apostle Worship, who ministered from Philippians 1:9, emphasizing that God's Spirit leads His children to love more deeply and sincerely. The Apostle encouraged the congregation to allow the Holy Spirit to guide their thoughts, words, and actions so that their love for God and one another may continually abound in knowledge, understanding, and Christ-like character.

A special highlight of the service was the administration of the Holy Sealing sacrament, during which five souls were sealed, receiving the gift of the Holy Spirit. This sacred act brought great joy and thanksgiving to the congregation as these believers were incorporated into the bridal congregation of Christ.

The service also included two ordinations. Brother Romano was ordained into the Deacon ministry, while Deacon Abrahams was ordained into the Priestly ministry. The congregation rejoiced with both brothers as they answered God's call to serve His people with humility, faithfulness, and dedication. Prayers were offered that the Lord would strengthen and guide them in their respective ministries.

Following the Divine Service, the congregation gathered in fellowship and shared a warm meal of soup. This time together provided an opportunity for members to strengthen bonds of Christian love, encourage one another, and celebrate the blessings experienced during the service.

The evening was a wonderful testimony of God's love, grace, and the unity of His people, leaving everyone encouraged to continue living a life led by the Holy Spirit.

On Sunday, 17 May 2026, the Surrey Estate congregation was richly blessed by the visit of the District Rector, whose presence brought encouragement, spiritual renewal, and unity among the members. The Divine Service was centered on Acts 1:8, reminding the congregation of the power of the Holy Spirit and the call to be faithful witnesses of Christ. The message inspired members to live boldly in faith and service. A special highlight of the service was the joyful adoption of two souls into the faith, marking a beautiful moment of commitment and spiritual growth. The congregation rejoiced together in thanksgiving for God’s grace and guidance.
