Called to oneness

On Sunday, 16 August 2026. The Rector, Priest William Jacobs conducted the Sunday divine service and Priest Wayne Stewart was called to serve alongside.

Text: John 17:20–21 (excerpt)
"I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one."

Message:
God grants us oneness, and we do everything in our power to preserve it.

Summary:
- Jesus not only prays to the Father for the disciples of that time, but also for all those who will come to believe through their word.

- The objective of Jesus’ prayer is the unity of all believers. This unity is founded upon Him and is meant to be an identifying feature of the one church of Christ.

- Oneness is a gift of God and a mission for humankind.

The gift of Holy Baptism
During the divine service parents Chevone and Damian Simpson, requested the Holy Baptism for their baby.

We welcome our newest member into the congregation. Congratulations to the family.

🍔🎲 Dare2Care Weekend Kicks Off! 🎉

On Friday, 31 July 2026, the Phoenix Young People came together for a fantastic burger and games evening to launch our Dare2Care Weekend.

The evening was filled with laughter, friendly competition, and meaningful fellowship as everyone enjoyed spending time together. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen friendships and create lasting memories.

What a beautiful way to begin the Dare2Care Weekend—and we’re off to an amazing start! Here’s to all that still lies ahead. 💚✨

Apostle Service - Phoenix Milnerton

On Tuesday, 14th July 2026, Apostle Worship conducted the mid-week divine service in Phoenix congregation.

Divine service text: Matthew 10 vs 40 “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.”

The Apostle mentioned that today’s date in 1935 commemorates the calling of the Apostles of the modern age.

District Rector Jason Smal was called to serve alongside the Apostle.

During the divine service, 11 souls received the gift of Holy Sealing. The congregation enjoyed fellowship with the Apostle after the divine service.
