Tonightβs Midweek Encounter brought deep revelation on the nature of the soul, revealing that our existence did not begin in the earth, but in God. Through the ministry of Brother Jesse and Minister Lynnette, we came to understand that the soul stands between Spirit and body, processing what heaven releases and shaping how it is expressed in the earth.

β¨ SPIRIT BEFORE FORM
Before we were formed in the earth, we already existed in the Spirit. Our eternal identity was established in God before our physical body was created, meaning our origin is divine, not earthly.
π₯ THE SOUL AS THE BRIDGE
The soul is the meeting point between the Spirit and the body, anchoring what is eternal into what is natural. It allows what is received in the Spirit to be expressed through human life in a tangible way.
π§ REVELATION IS PROCESSED IN THE SOUL
Revelation does not originate in the soul but is received in the Spirit and then processed by the soul. The soul translates that revelation into thoughts, emotions, and actions that shape our daily living.
π A REFLECTION OF DIVINE ORDER
Man is created as spirit, soul, and body, reflecting divine order. The Spirit connects with God, the soul interprets what is received, and the body carries out the expression of that truth.
βοΈ THE SOUL IS TESTED
The soul is the battleground where desires are pulled between the Spirit and the world. It is here that temptation is experienced, and decisions are made that either align with God or with the flesh.
π« THE SOUL NEEDS OIL
Like a fire requires fuel to keep burning, the soul requires the oil of the Spirit to remain alive and responsive. Without the Holy Spirit, the divine spark within the soul cannot be sustained and begins to fade.

π ACCOUNTABILITY RESTORES THE SOUL
Accountability is essential for healing and restoring the soul. It requires humility to receive correction from someone who can guide you beyond your current level.
π CONSISTENCY BUILDS TRUST
Consistency is showing up with the same standard regardless of how you feel or what you understand. It builds trust not only with people but also positions you to gain the attention of heaven.
π§ PREMEDITATION SHAPES FOCUS
What you think about and plan in advance determines where your focus will be. When your focus shifts away from Christ, your soul begins to follow what it is fixed on.
π TRAUMA AFFECTS VISION
A wounded soul struggles to see clearly and often becomes bound to past pain. Trauma distorts perception and makes it difficult to focus on the things of God.
π TRANSITION REQUIRES RELEASE
You cannot step into a new season while holding onto the past. Transition demands that the soul releases what is familiar in order to embrace what God is doing next.
ποΈ RESTORED SOULS FUNCTION
Godβs desire is not just for the soul to be healed, but for it to be restored into proper function. A restored soul becomes stable, structured, and able to carry out divine purpose effectively.

The Spirit may receive from God, but the soul determines how that revelation is carried and expressed. When the soul is aligned and restored, it becomes a faithful steward of what heaven releases. A healthy soul is essential for accurately reflecting God in the earth.
