This morning, Br. Jesse ministered a powerful word from 1 Peter 2:9, reminding us that being a chosen generation is not simply a title but a divine calling. We were challenged to embrace our identity in Christ, knowing that God chose us before we ever chose Him. As His people, we are called to carry His light, represent His Kingdom, and reveal His glory to the world.

We did not choose God firstโHe chose us. Before we took our first breath, He had already called us according to His purpose. We were chosen because of His love and covenant, not because of our works. There is no need to strive for what Christ has already secured through His finished work.

Peter wrote to believers who were scattered and under pressure to conform to the world. Yet God reminded them that they still belonged to Him and had a divine assignment. We have been chosen to impact nations, not to blend into culture. Our lives should reveal the Kingdom wherever God sends us.

As a royal priesthood, we are called to represent God before people. We carry His presence and point others to Jesus through the way we live. Priests reveal God's heart, and that remains our calling today. Every believer has been entrusted with this Kingdom responsibility.

God has brought us out of darkness and into His marvellous light. Darkness speaks of sin, fear, confusion, and bo***ge, but Jesus brings freedom and truth. We no longer belong to our old life because we have been redeemed by Christ. His light now shines through us for others to see.

Consecration comes with challenges because living for God requires separation from the world. Jesus is the pattern for every chosen generation, and our lives should reflect His character. We have been set apart to live differently, not merely to look different. Through obedience, we reveal the life of Christ.

A chosen generation is a witnessing generation. We have been bought with a price, so our lives should glorify God in both body and spirit. As His light shines through us, others are drawn to experience His love and salvation. Our identity in Christ is meant to be seen, lived, and proclaimed.

Being a chosen generation is not simply about knowing who we areโit is about living like the One who chose us. Jesus has called, sanctified, and set us apart for His glory. When we walk in our identity, the world encounters Christ through our lives.
