Our Mission, Purpose and Primary Objectives
The Called-by-Christ is an Online Christian Community who wants to get Bible believing Christians across the world to join together in the Name of Jesus Christ to fulfil the last command of Jesus Christ on earth - to make disciples of all men and women. We invite Christian ministries to join this Community, making us all more effective in our specific ar
eas. Our mission is to create an interactive internet based platform from where:
· Member administration and communication by all member bodies may be undertaken based on the best methodologies currently available. We want you to connect with all your stakeholders effectively and efficiently;
· An economic portal may be used to purchase products and services from Christian providers, offering a discount which may be channelled as funding of deserving Christian ministries at no additional cost to any member of the Christian community;
· We want to support evangelists by firstly managing their events and secondly coordinating the follow-up process afterwards with people who gave their lives to Christ. The broader Christian community need to show them the love of Christ by becoming the hands and feet of our Lord.
· Newly converted Christians may be registered and tracked by being placed under care of a mentorship programme on a dedicated geographical basis. Support, encouragement and accountability to ensure no new member of the Body become isolated and backslide. Existing ministries will be groomed in mentorship and in this process grow in its ability to make true disciples of Christ. What we believe
We believe that the Bible from Genesis 1 to Revelation 22 is the written Word of God. Our Operational Plan
We want to set up inter-cessionary prayer warriors to support the mentor programme and all activities of the participating ministries. It will be a blessing if existing Intercessors in various areas could register on our website and get involved. We were involved in the Mighty Men movement in South Africa and other parts of the world and saw how God touched men coming from various church affiliations and denominations. However many men without on-going support from a like-minded group in their immediate area of residence relapsed into old habits and all the good intentions to grow as a follower of Christ was wasted. Secondary Objectives
Called by Christ would like Christian businesses to join and become members of this Community. We pursue the common sense of biblical economics and where possible will encourage all members to purchase goods and services from fellow Christians. We trust that all Christian owned business will always actively contribute to the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. To this aim we are starting a Christian Community Fund where all purchase discounts and donations via these Christian Businesses will be donated. The purpose of this fund is to financially support new ministries or grow the capacity of existing ones. There will be NO financial gain or benefit to anybody, except unavoidable transactional and associated administrative costs.
