Happy Shavuot. Today marks an important Jewish festival called Shavuot. The Torah was given on this day. . It occurs on the sixth day of the month of Sivan and about 50 days from the day of Passover. In Greek it was called Pentecost So on this day thousands of years ago the Holy Spirit came on the Apostles. Through the holy spirit we have the power to be called sons and daughters of God.

Today, we remember our King and Lord, who made it possible for you and I to access and become citizens of his Kingdom by his death on the cross! He is no longer on that cross, he arose, and he is sitting in glory at the right hand of the Almighty our father.

Scientists are trying to make us live on Mars. Yes, Armageddon is coming. Luckily, you don't have to go to Mars. Jesus says "I go to prepare a place for you" Jn 14:2. Heaven is not a "feeling", it is a Place where the loyal subjects of our King will be taking away for a while to escape some terrible things that will happen on earth. He has made a plan for you.
