After a journey of a lifetime, the first batch of South African Hujaaj are arriving home today. This historic hajj marks the first time since the Covid-19 pandemic that the Saudi Kingdom allowed foreign pilgrims to undertake the journey. Furthermore, the opening of applications for Umrah visas for the year 1444 AH, for pilgrims coming from outside the Kingdom have begun today. According to Saudi news publication, Haramain Sharifain, tourist visa holders can obtain permits from next week Tuesday. Subsequently, No PCR test or Covid-19 vaccines are required.
