The Mike & Marie-Eve Ministries are in fact 3 ministries to which God has called us: Four12, Unakho

The Mike & Marie-Eve Ministries is our work with 3 ministries to which God has called us:
1- Four12: With the aim of equipping and encouraging pastors, and building partnerships between churches, especially across the racial division of South Africa.
2- The Unakho Orphanage: Support Pastor Bonani and the ministry of the orphanage he runs. Unakho staff take care of 30 orphaned children who have been abandoned in the slums of Cape Town.
3- Hope Africa: In IT support.

This Sunday, July 7th at 16:00 in Muizenberg will be my last preach during this season of life in South Africa. Everyone is invited to come worship Jesus with us!

What an absolute joy it has been to be part of the Joshgen family these last 11 years. You guys have loved us, and been the hands and feet of Jesus to us.

I also want to say a special thank you to the churches of the Cape Flats. You have a very special place in our hearts, as you have again and again welcomed us and shown us a Christlike example in your prayers, your passion for the Lord and your perseverance in faith!

Mike got back from his motorcycle outreach trip on Sunday. Here are some highlights. Please keep praying for him as he restarted chemotherapy on Monday.

So good to be back with our regional Four12 team to strategize again and dream of what God wants to keep doing in and through us!

It's been a different ministry season for us with Mike's health issues, but we are trusting that God isn't quite done with us yet and that there is more for us to do here in South Africa.

New experiences are being had every day while in Zimbabwe to encourage the church and pastors there. Mike was sick at first but improving. He has the opportunity to preach tomorrow. Pray for continued healing and for the words he will share with these fellow believers tomorrow.

"Sanctuary Family Church enjoyed a visit by JoshGen Khayelitsha last month. I (Luvuyo Nogqala) lead the worship and Lovemore shared the word. The worship was great and we experienced the presence of God. The word was enlightening and relevant for our church, it came at the time of need." - Luvuyo

Four12 is taken from Ephesians 4:12 which tells us that Christ gave gifts to the body, “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ”.

The last few months has felt like taking JoshGen and Four12Global on a road trip. God is on the move and so is His church. We've taken groups for many different churches and gone to visit other churches in Four12. A few weeks ago, Lovemore who leads JoshGen Khayelitsha went to visit Sancturary Family church.

About last weekend regional equip, well let me recap!!!

Mike arrived that morning from Canada. What should have taken 2.5 days took 5 days. You can imagine he wasn't feeling his best. BUT God. We got in the car shortly after his arrival and headed out for this time with our regional leaders. It was beautiful 🥰, impactful, and God took over where Mike's strength lacked. He taught something that made sense and touched many lives. That is a true testament to the God we serve. When we are weak, He is strong. And He can use the weakest of us, if we just make ourselves available to Him.

After a long travel, Mike made it to South Carolina to join Andrew Selley, the leader of Four12. They will spend 3 days and nights of meetings, worship and teaching with this new church plant before heading to Grunthal, Manitoba.
