Common Ground Church Constantiaberg

We are passionate about God and our city! What an adventure this congregation has been! We started with 70 people in May 2010. That’s true of us.

And since then people and families seem to be added every week! Surely what’s happening is the hand of God. Every now and then he seems to pour lavish blessing upon a growing group of people, quickly catalyzing them to love God more deeply, to love each other more authentically, and to love and serve the city more sacrificially. day crowd, we’ve worked hard to become a community. One way we do this is by multiplying more and more midweek life groups. Each group becomes a hub of community life where we eat together, laugh together, learn together, grow together and stand together.

It was a great morning this past Friday at Business Co as we gathered to explore one of the biggest topics of our time, AI. Steve explored how to understand AI, weighed in on its benefits and risks, and how to think wisely about stewarding technology for positive and redemptive impact.

We're grateful for every person who showed up, leaned in, and left with something to think about.

It was a great time at the Redemptive Leadership Conference 2026, as leaders from business, government, church, and the non-profit sector came together to reimagine what redemptive leadership looks like in South Africa today.
Our speakers brought wisdom, challenge, and deep encouragement, reminding us that the call to lead redemptively is not just possible, but needed in our nation.

Kids Rock is Back! 💎

We are so excited to announce that Kids Rock is launching a brand-new series for Term 2 called "Mining for Truth!"

Our explorers are entering a whole new "world" this term. We aren’t just looking for coal or iron; we are digging deep into the Greatest Map ever written - the Bible - to find the "diamond" truths in the stories of Jesus. From calming massive storms to the Great Commission, we’re discovering that God’s Word is the ultimate "crafting table" for our lives!

Friday is just around the corner, and we are so excited to have our youth back in the building! Whether you are in Grade 5 or Grade 12, there is a place for you to belong, have fun, and grow in your faith.

This past Sunday was a significant and special one for us at C’berg as we held our Welcoming In Sunday. It was a joy to officially welcome new members into our local family. We believe we are truly better together, and seeing our community grow reminds us of the exciting journey God has us on.

"Hidden in Plain Sight" – Our 2026 Easter Theme.

As we’ve moved through our daily devotionals this week, our hearts have been preparing for this moment. This Easter at C’Berg, we are diving into the truth that even in the noise of the world, God’s grace is right in front of us.

Good Friday (3 April) is a morning to pause in the shadow of the Cross and truly see the sacrifice of Jesus. 08:30am & 10:00am.

Easter Sunday (5 April) is a morning of pure joy for the whole family as we celebrate the empty tomb! 08:30am & 10:30am.
