The Festival of All Nations Mass which was held on Sunday the 28th of September at the Athlone Civic Centre Hall in Cape Town. The Mass was presided by Father Robert Bissell, the Vicar General for the Archdiocese of Cape Town and was animated by the diverse, multicultural chaplaincies for migrants living in Cape Town.

On Sunday the 27th of April, the 2nd week of Easter and Divine Mercy Sunday, members of the Zimbabwean Catholic Community in Cape Town, and the parishioners of the Parish of the Holy Family of Nazareth, Manenberg Holy Family of Nazareth Catholic Church Manenberg, in Cape Town came together to have a joint celebration of four auspicious events: Zimbabwe's 45th Independence Day which fell on Good Friday, the 18th of April 2025 this year, South Africa's 31st Freedom Day and Father Makore's birthday both of which fell on the same day. They also made the day into a family day celebration. These images were taken right after the mass that was celebrated in honour of all these events.
