Hoekom so baie verskillende offers en aanhoudende offers in die Ou Testament?
Miskien help die onderstaande om dit te verstaan;
1. Erkenning van Sonde: Die talle offers beklemtoon die mensdom se voortdurende behoefte aan versoening en die ernstigheid van sonde.

2. Voorafskaduing van Christus: Die offersisteem wys op Jesus as die perfekte en finale offer vir sonde.

3. Verbondsverhouding: Offers dui dankbaarheid, toewyding en die gemeenskaplike aspek van aanbidding binne God se verbond met sy volk aan.

4. God se Heiligheid en Geregtigheid: Die besonderhede van die offers weerspieël God se heiligheid, wat beklemtoon dat sonde werklike en baie ernstige gevolge het wat versoening vereis. Om na te laat om met sonde te deel, is om God se straf daarvoor te ignoreer, en dis iets wat Hy nie sal toelaat nie.

God's love is freely given without any conditions or expectations. God's love is limitless and eternal. God's love is deeply personal. God's love brings forgiveness. His love is available but not automatically accessed without your agreement to receive it. It is activated in you through Christ. Will you receive Christ today and therefore receive the fullness of God's love? Pray a prayer like this if you really mean it, and do it today: "Dear God, today I turn away from all of my sins (name them) and I put my trust in Jesus Christ alone as my Lord and Savior. Please forgive me, change my heart, and grant me Your gift of everlasting life. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen."The sincerity of your prayer will be evidenced by your obedience to God's will, so read His Word (the Bible) daily and obey what you read. Pentecost is celebrated today. This is the time the Holy Spirit descended to the assembly of believers of Jesus. Holy Spirit blessed them with the ability to speak different languages. This meant they could spread the word of the Lord and managed to baptise 3000 people in one day who repented and received Christ that day. Pentecost is primarily a thanksgiving feast for the firstfruits of the wheat harvest. How apt that a firstfruit of 3000 were brought in that day! Thank You, Jesus. Let the harvest continue. Amen.
