Good Day Family
Yesterday by the special grace of God, we were privileged as Cape Town First Love Church to enjoy a Valentine's Day Talk Show. The resource persons were none other than our own dear parents, Rev. Napoleon Essien and Lp Nana Akua Essien!
What a blessed time it was, in a safe environment where one could ask ANY and ALL questions pertaining to relationships from the wise counsels of our parents. Truly , when God wants to bless people He sends a 'man'; at the show deep rooted folly, young foolishness and deception was eradicated from our lives!
The event consisted mostly of a question and answer time where people got the opportunity to ask all the deep -seated questions within them about matters of the heart. With wisdom and experience, poised and calm manner, every question was answered and nobody was left unsatisfied!
An outstanding statement was made by our parents where they agreed that, the perfect husband or wife is the one who truly fears the Lord and makes God their everything( Not even the spouse or children, what a revelation and a shock!). It was added that such a partner would be sure to obey the Word of God and thus carry biblical standards of marriage which in God's wisdom , will always result in a successful married life.
A vintage warning to all of us! in our current phase of life and especially as young people, STRONG FORCE of lust and inordinate affection tends to cloud our judgement and would likely lead to a bad decision without counsel. So let us seek Godly counsel. Blessed?
