Rynse Kerk van Suid Afrika Welcome to the Rhenish Church The Rhenish Church in South Africa is the fruit of The Rhenish Mission Society a German missionary initiative in South Africa.

The first four Rhenish Missionaries came to South Africa on the 7th October 1829. They primarily worked in the Western Cape Province amongst the coloured people, with the exception of Carnarvon where they also evangelized Xhosa speaking people.

Good afternoon...we the Rhenish Church in SA wish to extend our sincere condolences to the widow, Mrs Leah Tutu and the children of Arch Bishop and Mrs Leah Tutu. He was a man of great stature. Someone who taught the nation the importance of forgiveness. "Without forgiveness we have no future" He will be remembered as a humorous person, somebody who took leadership very serious. He was one of those people who believed that leaders must lead by example. He will be missed. May his soul rest in peace. *A prayer for wisdom*

God, thank you for the promise of your wisdom. Our thoughts, ideas, and creativity have little to no eternal value without you.

Thank you, God, for the depth and richness of the wisdom that you so freely give.

We pray for the courage to act upon that wisdom. May it help us as leaders in making good decisions.

Grant us the wisdom to more fully understand your will and purpose for the church, in the specific circumstances in which we serve. We seek your wisdom and guidance to lead the church in a way that brings glory and honour to you.
