It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Captain, David Adams.

Captain Adams was more than a leader to us. He was a steady presence and a helping hand, never shy to step in and support where it was needed. He was a man of few words, but his actions spoke clearly. He carried a deep care for the organisation and its members, and he showed that through his consistency, his discipline, and the quiet way he led.

He gave so much of himself to the brigade. His impact is seen in the people he supported, the example he set, and the values he lived out every day.
He truly fought the good fight.

To his wife and children, we want to express our sincere gratitude. Thank you for sharing him with us. Thank you for the love and support that allowed him to serve the organisation so faithfully. We recognise that his commitment to us was made possible by your strength at home, and for that we are deeply thankful.

As the Cape Town Regiment, we stand together in honouring his life and will carry forward what he stood for.

Into your hands, O Lord, we humbly entrust our brother Captain David Charles Adams. In this life you embrace them with your tender love; deliver them now from every evil and bid them eternal. Amen

Rest in peace, Captain Adams.
You will always remain part of our ranks.

May the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome you and take you to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.

Amen
