Daily Juice

Today is a miracle, start it with gratitude. Don't ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday. You are your own best friend. Never put yourself down.

_Every phase of your life is growable. Treat yourself like someone you love. One day you'll look back and realize that you worried too much about things that don't really matter. Your future needs you more than your past.

Remember, the longer you hold onto something, the heavier it will become. Regret won't change your past. Anxiety won't change your future. Over-thinking is a slow poison. Don't let it complicate your life. Maximize the present; do something today that will birth you a better tomorrow.

Inspiration
Every child has a mother; but for Jesus to be "born of a woman" meant there was no human father, no male counterpart. Jesus' true Father is the Father of Eternity. No other child has had a virgin birth, "born of a woman," except him. All the rest of us are born of a father and a mother.

Galatians 5:6 [KJV]
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Inspiration
In Genesis, the rite of circumcision was begun as part of God's covenant with Abraham. It was a way of setting God's people apart (though it was only performed on males). Today it is practiced by a wide variety of cultures, primarily for hygiene purposes. But during the time that Galatians was written, it was still being practiced as a religious rite among the Hebrews. It was an area of contention during early Christianity because Gentiles were not circumcised, and therefore seen as unworthy in the eyes of their Hebrew brothers. Paul clarifies in this scripture that circumcision means nothing when it comes to following Christ. It is our faith, coupled with acts of love, that makes us worthy--not some ritual which has nothing to do with our heart. Paul makes it clear in this passage that faith is the only thing that matters to Christ.

He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

Inspiration
If a person claims to love and know God, but it is clear in their actions that they are not loving towards the people around them, then this means that they actually do not know God. God is the epitome of love and we cannot have a relationship with Him if we do not express who He really is.

Galatians 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Inspiration
When we give our hearts to Christ, we die to our old self. The old self is "crucified" and replaced with Christ. We are "born again" as Christ. From that point on, it is not us that live in these bodies, but Christ. The righteousness we possess is His righteousness. Because He gave Himself for us, He has taken occupancy within us. Everything we are, everything we do is Christ.

Philippians 1:21[KJV]
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

Inspiration
When Paul wrote these words, he was in chains. He had been tortured and imprisoned in Rome for the cause of Christ. He said here that for him, to live IS Christ. He was fully consumed by Christ in his life. Paul believes that if he dies, then he gains. He gains eternal life with Christ. Either way, he is with Christ. If we take Paul's perspective, we can see that if we live for Christ, we die in Christ and that, no matter what happens, we win either way.
