Exodus 11:6-7 “Then there shall be great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as was not like it before, nor shall be like it again. But against none of the children of Israel shall a dog move its tongue, against man or beast, that you may know that the Lord does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel”. Verse 7 says “That you may KNOW that the Lord does make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. The first thing that we have to do is KNOWING. I want to encourage somebody today that unless you KNOW the God that you worship, what kind of God is he and how powerful and big is your God, you will never have peace in this troubled world. John 14:27 “I am leaving you with a gift, peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift that the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid”. We need to KNOW this God , the God who will give us peace and comfort in such times as these. And how do we KNOW this God? One might ask.
1. Read your Bible- Make it a daily habit to read the Bible to feed your mind and to renew your thinking. Fill your thinking with the word of God.( Joshua 1:8)
2. Pray- Do not forget to pray. Pray always, It is in the prayer room that God reveals his will to his people. (Jeremiah 33:3)
3. Fellowship- Do not neglect the gathering of the saints. Even though the gatherings are prohibited in this season, we do still have social media. And as much as the devil is using the media to create fear in this time of corona pandemic in the world, we can also use it to bring hope to the world. Let us connect with one another to share the gospel and encourage one another. (Hebrews 10:25).
In the book of Matthew11:28 Jesus said “come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest”. Who is this God that give you rest in such a time like this? His name is JEHOVAH ELOHIM, OUR CREATOR AND A COVENANT KEEPING GOD. He said in his word, I will never leave you nor forsake. Isaiah 59:19b “ When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him”. Psalm 91:7-10 “A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you. Only with your eyes shall you look, and see the reward of the wicked. Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the most High your dwelling place. No evil shall befall you, nor shall any PLAGUE come near your dwelling”. His name is JEHOVAH SABAOTH, the Lord of Hosts. We need to KNOW this God for surely he will make a difference between the Egyptians and Israel. SHALOM

Good day saints all over the world. We need to pray for the church, especially in this period where everybody is running up and down not knowing what will become of tomorrow. And we have shifted so much our focus to this pandemic of corona virus, instead of looking at the bigger picture which is the church. When I am talking about the church, I am not talking about your denomination or religious affiliation, but to the body of Christ as a whole. We need to pray for Unity in the church. We have seen the power of unity in the world today, how much the world has united and become one. As a result of that oneness, the world has managed to sent forth Fear throughout to almost everybody on the planet earth through this pandemic. How much more us, as the children of the most high God if we become one, the effect we can have. For greater is he who is in us than the one who is in the world. At one time in the gospels in the book of John 17:21 Jesus prayed for his disciples, “ God make them one as we are one ( God the father, God the son and God the Holy Spirit)”. Jesus understood very well the power in oneness and unity. And if the church becomes one, it will eventually be one with God, since Jesus is the head of the church and he is one with the father. And if all become one, we will start thinking and acting like God, and we know that in him nothing is impossible, all things are possible. So this corona virus will be a thing of the past because it shall surely come to pass. Isaiah 54:17 says that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgement you shall condemn. Romans 8:28 says all things workerth together to them that love him and are called by his name. I am also reminded in Matthew 16 where Jesus said , “ upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it”. So it is time saints to stand our ground and know that even though the thief cometh to kill, steal and destroy But our Lord Jesus Christ came that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
