Romu, 7

You have to die in the law in order to rise in Christ, a preacher who mix a grace with law is doing adultery.

1. Kungenzeka yini bafowethu, ukuthi anazi, (ngoba ngikhuluma nalabo abawaziyo umthetho,) ukuthi uMthetho uyinkosi phezu komuntu uma nje esaphila?
2. Ngokwesibonelo, owesifazane oshadile uboshelwe ngumthetho kumyeni wakhe lapho esaphila; kodwa uma umyeni wakhe efa, uyakhululwa emthethweni womyeni wakhe.
3. Ngakho-ke, lapho umyeni wakhe esaphila, kungathiwa uyisiphingi uma eba ngowenye indoda. Kodwa uma umyeni wakhe efa, ukhululekile emthethweni wakhe, kangangokuthi akabi yisiphingi uma eba ngowenye indoda.
4. Ngakho, bafowethu, nani, ngomzimba kaKristu nenziwa naba abafile ngokuqondene noMthetho, ukuze nibe ngabomunye, lowo owavuswa kwabafileyo, ukuba sithele isithelo kuNkulunkulu.

Salvation is not based on keeping the Law of Moses, but on faith in Jesus Christ and the law of love. The Bible teaches that:

1. _Faith in Jesus Christ_: We are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not by works or keeping the Law (Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 3:20-25).
2. _The Law of Love_: Jesus taught that the greatest commandments are to love God and love our neighbors as ourselves (Matthew 22:37-40, Mark 12:29-31).
3. _Eternal Salvation_: Salvation is a gift from God, and once we receive it, we cannot lose it (John 10:28-29, Philippians 1:6).

The Law of Moses was a shadow of the things to come, but Jesus is the reality (Hebrews 10:1-10). We are no longer under the Law, but under grace (Romans 6:14-15). Our salvation is based on Jesus' finished work on the cross, and we receive it by faith, not by our own efforts or works.

Remember, love is the fulfillment of the Law (Romans 13:10), and we show our love for God and others through our actions and obedience to Jesus' teachings. But our salvation is not based on our performance, but on Jesus' perfect love and sacrifice.

According to the Bible, there are three heavens mentioned:

1. *The first heaven*: The atmospheric heaven, the sky, or the air (Genesis 1:20, Psalm 104:12)
2. *The second heaven*: The celestial heaven, the realm of the sun, moon, stars, and planets (Genesis 1:14-17, Psalm 19:1-6)
3. *The third heaven*: The spiritual heaven, the dwelling place of God, and the realm of spiritual beings (2 Corinthians 12:2-4, Revelation 21:1-4)

It's worth noting that some interpretations and traditions may vary in their understanding of the number and nature of the heavens. However, this three-fold division is a common understanding based on the biblical text.

There is what is called a struggle with sin and deliberately sinning.

There is a connection here

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,
Hebrews 10:27

Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
Romans 7:20

A foundational principle of biblical interpretation!

The Bible is its own best interpreter, and scripture interprets scripture. This means that:

1. The Bible is a cohesive, unified book with a consistent message.
2. Passages and verses are connected and illuminate each other.
3. Understanding a verse or passage is aided by considering its context and relationship to other relevant scriptures.
4. The Bible provides its own explanations, definitions, and illustrations, reducing the need for external sources.
5. Scripture interprets scripture, providing a more accurate and reliable understanding than human interpretations alone.

This approach ensures that our understanding of the Bible is grounded in the text itself, rather than relying solely on human wisdom or external sources. By letting scripture interpret scripture, we can uncover the rich meaning and depth of God's Word!

The question of eating pork!

In the Old Testament, God gave specific dietary laws to the Israelites, including the command not to eat pork (Leviticus 11:7-8, Deuteronomy 14:8). This was part of the Jewish law and cultural practices.

However, with the coming of Jesus and the New Covenant, these dietary restrictions were fulfilled and set aside (Mark 7:19, Acts 10:9-16, Romans 14:1-4). The apostle Paul wrote, "Do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink" (Colossians 2:16).

So, is it wrong to eat pork? Not according to the New Testament! The focus shifted from external rules to inner purity, love, and grace. Yet, some people may still choose to avoid pork for personal, cultural, or health reasons. And that's okay!

Remember, our relationship with God is not about what we eat or don't eat, but about our heart and our love for Him and others (1 Corinthians 8:8, Matthew 22:37-40).

Pride

If someone thinks they are the only anointed pastor and others are not, it can lead to:

1. _Pride_: Elevating oneself above others, forgetting that all believers are anointed and empowered by God.
2. _Exclusivism_: Believing only they have a direct line to God, disregarding the gifts and contributions of others.
3. _Lack of collaboration_: Failing to work together with other ministers and believers, hindering the unity and effectiveness of the Church.
4. _Spiritual stagnation_: Neglecting the importance of diverse perspectives, gifts, and experiences that can enrich their own ministry and the Church as a whole.

Remember, God's anointing is not limited to one person or title! All believers are anointed to serve and build up the Body of Christ (2 Corinthians 1:21, 1 John 2:20, 27). Let's embrace the beauty of shared ministry and collaboration!
