Pastors! Hear this from a Pastor/Musician. Something we may not see but needs to be on your pastoral radar is that the musician community needs a “pastor” and a “therapist”.

What I see in a lot of these musician groups and statuses with how they view church, leadership, pay, the victimization and much more proves we are not providing proper discipleship development for them. I’m moved to put somethings in the works for those that I pastor. That’s where it starts, at your house first.

FAMILIARITY😰

FAMILIARITY is one of the biggest thieves in the CHURCH and LIFE in general.
You cannot RECEIVE from where you dont HONOR
And No matter how GREAT the GIFT of GOD, it will be NEUTRALIZED in your life by the SPIRIT of FAMILIARITY.

In the OLD TESTAMENT, MICHAL suffered from FAMILIARITY toward her HUSBAND ,YES TOWARDS HER HUSBAND DAVID.
She PAID for it by BECOMING BARREN. FAMILIARITY is still the cause of SPIRITUAL BARRENNESS in the CHURCH today.

2 Samuel 6: 20 - 23

When MICHAL SPOKE against DAVID, she WORE the SHOES of a REBEL FIGHTING and OPPOSING GOD’s ANOINTED.
She BECAME a CRITIC of “THE MAN AFTER GOD ’s OWN HEART ”.
GOD called David “A MAN AFTER MINE OWN HEART ” but she DESPISED him.
IMAGINE that GOD is IMPRESSED but you are NOT IMPRESSED!

do u kno that u have a lot of people who love you but most of them are scared and ashamed to associate with you publicly because of bad things that they might have said about u privately or because of the people they also love but are yo enemies.

THE NICODEMUS TYPE OF PEOPLE, he loved JESUS but he was scared to make it public coz he was belonging to the group of pharisees who were JESUS enemies.

ACCEPT THEM WEN THEY COME TO YOU PRIVATELY, PROTECT THEIR IDENTITY, THEY LOVE YOU.

Someone has to teach you HOW TO BE LED BY THE SPIRIT ?And this verse will make sense .

more wisdom, that we may better understand and enjoy the
blessings we already have.

You don't share 5 times to be blessed ,You are the blessed one already in Christ .

Knowing who to address when we pray is very Vital. We pray to the father in the name of Jesus
Imagine addressing the wrong person for 20 years🤕

In the Book of Mathew ,Jesus said when you pray say Our father who art in heaven .
with understanding

These Scriptures tell us that:-
1)God will answer us.
2)God shall answer!
