On Wednesday, 20 May 2026, a blessed divine service was held at the Voorbrug Congregation where nine congregations gathered together in unity. The visiting District Apostle Peter Schulte from Australia officiated the service and used 2 Timothy 1:14 as the foundation of the sermon: “That good thing which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.” (NKJV).
District Apostle Schulte encouraged the congregation to embrace the precious gift of being children of God, to treasure the gift of rebirth, and to continue believing and trusting in God throughout their spiritual journey.
Thereafter, District Rector Wagenaar was called to serve alongside him and emphasized the importance of strengthening and continuing in faith, reminding the congregation that faith is what carries us through life’s spiritual journey.
A beautiful atmosphere prevailed throughout the service, while the music items brought a wonderful sense of calm and peace, making the gathering a spiritually uplifting and memorable occasion for all who attended.
