Grace upon Grace! Another blessed day in His presence

*You can push yourself to greater heights*

"The Lord our God said to us at Horeb, You have stayed long enough at this mountain." Deuteronomy 1:6

God desires His children to grow, increase, and expand in every area of life spiritually, mentally, socially, and even materially. He delights in our development because it brings glory to His name. However, many Christians remain stuck in one level, unable to break into the massive development God has ordained for them.

One barrier is *fear of change.* Like Israel at the Red Sea, fear can paralyze progress. Another is *lack of vision* "Where there is no vision, the people perish" (Proverbs 29:18). Without clear direction, growth is stunted. *Mediocrity and complacency* also hinder development; settling for less when God calls us higher limits our potential. *Sin and disobedience* are further barriers, because they disconnect us from God's blessings and favor.

Breaking these barriers requires faith and courage to step into new territories, just like Joshua was commanded to be strong and courageous (Joshua 1:6). It also requires aligning with God's vision for our lives through prayer, study of His Word, and obedience. Discipline, diligence, and a commitment to excellence are practical steps that open doors of increase. Above all, total dependence on the Holy Spirit empowers us to break limitations and fulfill destiny.

When barriers are broken, Christians become agents of massive development in their families, communities, and the world. The Church shines brighter, and God's kingdom advances.

Prayer for Today: My Father in heaven, thank You for Your Word. LORD remove every barrier holding me back from the massive development You planned for me. Grant me courage, vision, and grace to rise higher in every area of my life. In the Name of Jesus Christ.... Amen.

*2025 did not consume me, God is faithful*

We went through fire and water, but you brought us to a place of abundance.
Psalm 66:12

As this year draws to a close, it is important to acknowledge not only where God is taking you, but where He has already brought you from. Psalm 66 reflects a journey that included pressure, testing, and restriction, yet it ends with abundance. This reminds us that seasons of difficulty are not destinations; they are transitions. God permits certain paths not to diminish us, but to prepare us for increase.

Looking back over 2025, there may have been moments that felt overwhelming or uncertain. Yet the fact that you are standing at the end of the year is evidence of God’s sustaining grace. He has refined your faith, strengthened your endurance, and expanded your capacity. Abundance is not only measured in material provision, but in wisdom gained, character formed, and trust deepened.

Today, allow gratitude to shape your reflection. Honor the process God used and trust that every step had purpose. The God who brought you through is the same God who brings you into abundance—spiritually, emotionally, and purposefully.

Prayer of faith;l; Father, I thank You for bringing me through every season of this year. Even in difficult moments, You were faithful. I honor the process and trust that You have prepared me for what lies ahead. Thank You for leading me into a place of abundance according to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Declaration: I decree and declare that the Lord has brought me through and is leading me forward. Every season of this year has worked for my good, and I enter the future strengthened, refined, and prepared for increase.

*Rough and undeserving.... but you are precious*

'‘He needed to go through Samaria.’ John 4:4.

Why does the Bible say Jesus *‘needed to go through Samaria’?* The main purpose was to redeem a damaged woman who was called to introduce the gospel to Samaria for the first time. Think about the situation Jesus faced; the heat was smouldering, the journey was long, and He was on foot. He knew He wouldn’t be welcome there because of a long-standing animosity between Jews and Samaritans. Women in those days veiled their faces and were forbidden to speak to men outside their own family. This woman was already the talk of the town because she’d been through five divorces. So why did Jesus feel He ‘needed to go through Samaria’? *Because He saw her as a diamond in the rough.* He looked beyond her problem and saw her potential for His kingdom. The Bible says, ‘Many of the Samaritans…believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified’ (v. 39).

There’s an important lesson here. The schedule didn’t control Jesus; the will of God and the needs of hurting people did. He was willing to go out of His way, turn tradition on its ear, and break new ground to do it. Notice what Jesus told His disciples afterwards: ‘Do you not say, “There are still four months and then comes the harvest?” Behold, I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest! And he who reaps receives wages, and gathers fruit for eternal life, that both he who sows and he who reaps may rejoice together’ (vv. 35-36).

Prayer for Today: My heavenly Father, thank You for Your great love for me. Rough and undeserving as I am, You still long for my soul. Come into my heart and take residence. In Jesus' name.....Amen.

The doctrine of Christmas is rooted in the Christian belief in the Incarnation, where God became man in the person of Jesus Christ. This central event is seen as the fulfillment of messianic promises and a demonstration of God's love for humanity. The celebration of Christmas commemorates the birth of Jesus, emphasizing the mystery of God taking on human form to redeem humanity

In Christian theology, Christmas represents the moment when the eternal, immaterial God entered the material world, sharing in human experience to transform it from within. This doctrine is based on biblical accounts, particularly in the Gospels of Matthew and Luke, which describe Jesus' birth and its significance.

The early Christian church did not widely observe Christmas, and it wasn't until the 4th century that December 25th became a recognized date for celebration. Over time, Christmas evolved to incorporate various traditions and symbols, while maintaining its core theological significance as a celebration of God's incarnation in Jesus Christ

*The key to faith is fixing your eyes on Christ*

Hebrews 12:2
"Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

This is why it takes faith to believe that God sees you righteous. It takes faith to believe that He does not see you in your sins, that He does not observe sin or iniquity in you. It takes faith to believe that He means what He says when He says, “For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more” (Heb. 8:12). It takes faith to believe that God will not remember your failings and mistakes!

My friend, the key to faith is found in looking to the source of faith—Jesus. As the Bible says, “fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith” (Heb. 12:2). Your faith to believe is found in Jesus! The Amplified Bible puts it this way: “Looking away [from all that will distract] to Jesus, Who is the Leader and the Source of our faith [giving the first incentive for our belief] and is also its Finisher [bringing it to maturity and perfection].”

In other words, turn your eyes away from your own flaws, imperfections, failings, and mistakes, and just fix your eyes on Jesus. The more you see Jesus and His finished work, the more faith arises in your heart to believe that all your sins are truly forgiven. You can start on a clean slate and have a brand-new beginning in Christ. The old is gone, and the new has come!Amen.

*Remove the Grave clothes and go freely.*"

And the dead man came out,his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!”John 11:44.

In John 11, when Lazarus was raised from the dead, Jesus told them, “Unwrap the graveclothes and let him go.” Even though God had done something amazing on the inside, somebody had to be willing to take off the messy, decaying, smelly graveclothes or he would never have experienced the fullness of what God had done.

There are people around us who are wearing grave clothes. God breathed life into them and has given them purpose, but on the outside, they’re still bound. They have addictions and bad habits, struggle with anger, and perhaps are loose in their morals. They’re messy. It’s tempting to think, When they clean themselves up and it’s not so stinky, I’ll help them. Why don’t you be the one to speak faith into them, to see the best in them, to help them get free? Love heals, love restores, love lifts up, love takes time to care. You can be a graveclothes remover.

Maybe you are the one who is still wrapped in grave cloths. You are not sure if God has healed you, you are not sure if He has delivered you, you are not sure if He has set you free, why.... because your surroundings show that you are still wrapped in grave cloths. The scripture says "and the dead man came out," You might look dead, sound dead, but God has done a great miracle inside you.

“Father, thank You for freely giving me Your grace and mercy that I might freely give it to others. Thank You that I can help lift the fallen, restore the broken, and heal the hurting. Help me to be willing to get dirty and love people who are messy. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”

*God will lead you into unknown future*

I will lead thee in paths they have not known.
Isaiah 42:16

Life often takes us through unfamiliar and unexpected paths—places we never imagined we would go. Sometimes, the road ahead seems unclear, and fear or uncertainty can creep in. But God promises that He will lead us in paths we have not known. Even when we don’t understand where we’re going, He sees the way and guides us step by step.

God’s leadership is perfect. He does not leave us to figure things out on our own. When we trust Him, we don’t have to rely on our own wisdom or understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). Instead, we can move forward in faith, knowing that He has already prepared the way.

Perhaps you are facing a season where you don’t know what’s next—a new opportunity, a transition, or an uncertain situation. Rest in the truth that God is leading you. He is the Light that shines on your path, making the unknown places clear. Your role is simply to trust and follow Him.

As you step into the unknown, walk in confidence knowing that God is already there. He is leading you into something greater, something good, something that will glorify Him.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I thank You for being my guide, even when the path ahead is unclear. I trust that You are leading me into places I have not known, and I surrender my fears and uncertainties to You. Strengthen my faith to follow You without hesitation, knowing that You have already prepared the way. Open my eyes to see Your direction, and help me walk in obedience. Thank You for being my faithful leader. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Confession of Faith: I declare that God is leading me in paths I have not known. I trust His guidance and walk by faith, not by sight. I do not fear the unknown because the Lord has gone before me and made the way clear. His wisdom directs my steps, and I will follow Him with confidence. I am secure in His plan, knowing that He is leading me into His perfect will. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

*Recognise God's hand in your life*

For they failed to consider or understand [the teaching and meaning of the miracle of] the loaves; [in fact] their hearts had grown callous [had become dull and had lost the power of understanding].
Mark 6:52

God is always working in our lives, performing miracles, providing, and guiding us, yet sometimes we fail to recognize His hand. The disciples had just witnessed Jesus miraculously feed thousands with a few loaves and fish, yet when faced with another challenge, their hearts had become dull and they failed to understand the lesson of the miracle.

A hardened heart is not necessarily rebellious—it can result from familiarity, distractions, or a lack of reflection on what God has already done. When we don’t take time to meditate on His goodness and remember His past faithfulness, we become spiritually dull and fail to see His presence in new challenges.

Have you allowed your heart to become callous? Have you forgotten the miracles He has already done? Take time today to remember God’s faithfulness. Reflect on past victories, give thanks, and allow His Spirit to keep your heart soft and receptive.

Faith grows when we remember and meditate on what God has already done. When we recognize His hand in our past, we will trust Him for our future. Don’t let your heart grow dull—stay sensitive to His presence and open to His teachings.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I repent for the times I have failed to recognize Your hand in my life. Forgive me for allowing my heart to grow dull and for forgetting the miracles You have already performed. Help me to stay sensitive to Your voice and to always remember Your faithfulness. Keep my heart tender and full of understanding, so that I may always trust You in every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Confession of Faith: I decree and declare that my heart is soft and receptive to God’s Word. I will not forget His miracles or take His blessings for granted. My faith grows stronger as I remember His past faithfulness, and I trust Him completely for my future. I walk in spiritual understanding, and I recognize God’s presence in every area of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

*Now, it is the acceptable time: its your season*

For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) 2 Corinthians 6:2.

One of the greatest destroyers of progress is delay. It can be as a result of not knowing the time of your visitation, not taking advantage of the opportunity that God brings your way, procrastination, or by the evil works of Satan and his agents.

If a person that ought to have been married at the age of thirty is delayed and gets married at seventy, things that would have been easily done at the time may become a struggle.

In God there are seasons and times. You need to pray that your life will conform to God’s seasons in Jesus name. God’s indication that your acceptable time has come is when He lays a strong burden in your heart to do something, gives you a clear instruction, gives you new revelations which demand action, opens a door of opportunity, gives you unusual faith, brings you in contact with unusual people of destiny and the times when things should happen naturally in your life.

When you see these happening, God is telling you, now is the acceptable time. Your acceptable time is your proper time of response and action. It is the time you must take steps of faith and obedience. If you miss such times, your purpose in life may be delayed and defeated. Pray that you will know God’s acceptable time for the issues of life and also know what to do in such times. Amen.

So, Isaiah 41:8-14 is like a message of reassurance from God to the Israelites, who are feeling anxious and fearful. Basically, God is saying, "Hey, I've got your back! You're my people, my chosen ones, and I'm here to support you."

In context, the Israelites were likely feeling overwhelmed by the challenges they were facing, like the threat of invasion and exile. But God is reminding them that they're not alone and that He's in control.

The passage is saying that God will:

- Strengthen them
- Help them
- Uphold them with His righteous power

It's like God is saying, "Don't fear, I've got this!" 😊 It's a powerful reminder of God's presence and support, and it's meant to bring comfort and hope to those facing tough times 🌟
