God is no longer a mystery.
John 1:18 AMPC says “No man has ever seen God at any time; the only [e]unique Son, or [f]the only begotten God, Who is in the bosom [in the intimate presence] of the Father, He has declared Him [He has revealed Him and brought Him out where He can be seen; He has interpreted Him and He has made Him known].
Any God prayed to, given to, sang to and talked to whose character is not consistent with the character of Jesus Christ is not the true God but an idol.
Whenever someone talks about ‘God’, you must look at the ‘God’ in the light of the character of Jesus Christ.
This is important as almost all people have an ideal of ‘God.’
Superficially they may all look alike, but fundamentally they are not the same. For example, if someone instructs you by telling you that God said you should bring R35 000 (because you are 35 years old) for your next level, you must look at who Jesus instructed to bring money to help while He walked the Earth to push them into their next level.
In fact, you can’t find anyone in the Bible Jesus instructed to go on a fast before helping them.
No!
What I am saying is that God is known in Christ Jesus.
