🥞 Flipping for Fellowship!

​What a sweet (and syrupy!) evening we had today for Shrove Tuesday.

​There’s something truly special about the smell of fresh pancakes filling the air as we gather together. We’ve loved seeing our church premises buzzing with life on Shrove Tuesday, and tonight was no exception.

​As we head into the season of Lent, we’re so grateful for these moments of joy and community.

🕯️ All Souls’ Sunday – A Time to Remember 🕯️

Today we gathered in faith and love to remember those who have gone before us. Each candle lit represents a soul that continues to shine in our hearts and in the life of our church community.

As we give thanks for their lives, we also find comfort in God’s promise of eternal rest and peace. 🙏

"The souls of the righteous are in the hand of God, and no torment shall touch them." – Wisdom 3:1

Annual Valentine's Tea Event a Sweet Success

The church held its annual Valentine's Tea on Sunday, 16 February 2025, and once again, the event was a sold-out success. Guests were treated to a delightful array of sweets and treats, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

This year’s guest speaker, Mrs. Cupido from Riviersonderend, shared heartfelt words, while the church’s dance group delivered a wonderful performance, adding to the festive spirit.

The Church Council extends heartfelt thanks to all who attended, assisted in baking the treats, donated sweets, and worked behind the scenes to ensure the event's success.

Looking ahead, the church will enter the season of Advent on 5 March 2025, beginning with Ash Wednesday. We ask for prayers as we journey through this meaningful time of reflection, seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit as we prepare for the Eastertide.

Thank you to everyone who made this event memorable!
