Hallelujah Hallelujah Hallelujah Youth on fire ,are you ready today,wow you look so beautiful,indeed you are Youth for Christ,Let's not waste much time , prepare your Bible and diary,open both of it now.
I want to talk about discovering your purpose,this is the most challenging topic that we face as you,they don't know who they are, they don't know why they live,they don't have plan about life, they just Live as long they breath.
A youth that has never discovered his or her purpose you are as good as dead because it is a purpose that drives you,that makes you still know why you are living.
1 Samuel 16:1-11
[1]Now the lord said to Samuel, “You have mourned long enough for Saul. I have rejected him as king of Israel, so fill your flask with olive oil and go to Bethlehem. Find a man named Jesse who lives there, for I have selected one of his sons to be my king.”
[10]In the same way all seven of Jesse’s sons were presented to Samuel. But Samuel said to Jesse, “The lord has not chosen any of these.”
[11]Then Samuel asked, “Are these all the sons you have?”“There is still the youngest,” Jesse replied. “But he’s out in the fields watching the sheep and goats.”“Send for him at once,” Samuel said. “We will not sit down to eat until he arrives.”
David was Anointed at a younger age of 13 Years to be a king over Israel,there were many old people God should have picked but he went for David Because David discovered his purpose and his purpose was to be after God's heart.
As a Youth you must be after God's heart the rest it'll be history in your life,God seeks youth that will follow his heart and do the will of God,when things happens that way ,you no longer seek higher positions God himself takes you there.
Being after God's heart open higher heights over your life,don't strive for things of this world just be after God's heart,God will give you what's best for you.
1 Samuel 13:13-14
[13]“How foolish!” Samuel exclaimed. “You have not kept the command the lord your God gave you. Had you kept it, the lord would have established your kingdom over Israel forever.
[14]But now your kingdom must end, for the lord has sought out a man after his own heart. The lord has already appointed him to be the leader of his people, because you have not kept the lord’s command.”
God gave David this position because he was after his heart,there are some positions in life God will give it to you when you are after his heart.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE AFTER GOD'S HEART
- OBEY GOD
- LIVE YOUR LIFE FOR GOD
- PRESENT YOUR BODY AS A LIVING SACRIFICE
- LOVE GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART
Ecclesiastes 12:1
[1]Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.”
Don't be deceived by what the world is showing you,Love God and follow his ways,don't allow being youth deceive you that you still have many days to live,you can die anytime.
Ecclesiastes 11:7-9
[7]Light is sweet; how pleasant to see a new day dawning.
[8]When people live to be very old, let them rejoice in every day of life. But let them also remember there will be many dark days. Everything still to come is meaningless.
[9]Young people, it’s wonderful to be young! Enjoy every minute of it. Do everything you want to do; take it all in. But remember that you must give an account to God for everything you do.
Live and remember that you'll be held accountable for how you live,many youth you are living like vagabonds because you don't know God and you don't want to seek God's heart.
1 John 2:14
[14]I have written to you who are God’s children
because you know the Father.
I have written to you who are mature in the faith
because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning.
I have written to you who are young in the faith
because you are strong.
God’s word lives in your hearts,
and you have won your battle with the evil one.
As a Youth you must keep on encouraging yourself you are young but strong,many youth use their background situation to live in sin,they do prostitution because they are poor or not taken care,that's not a solution as a youth you are strong.

dark as the tents of Kedar,
dark as the curtains of Solomon’s tents.
As a young lady have pride and confidence by your appearance,you may be black but beautiful,have self confidence.
