Friday night Youth is always such a special and blessed time as our leaders connect with teenagers, build meaningful relationships, have fun, and grow together in their understanding of Jesus.

It has been incredibly encouraging to witness the growth of our young people as they deepen their faith and walk with the Lord.

All glory to God for the work He is doing in His Church and in the lives of the next generation 🌟

This past weekend, our Bryanston and Northcliff congregations gathered together under one roof as one family to praise Jesus and encourage one another in the faith.

Kevin shared a powerful message on Pentecost Sunday, reminding us of the gift of the Holy Spirit and the power of believers gathering together in unity.

Acts 2:1–4 (ESV)“When the day of Pentecost arrived, they were all together in one place. And suddenly there came from heaven a sound like a mighty rushing wind, and it filled the entire house where they were sitting. And divided tongues as of fire appeared to them and rested on each one of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave them utterance.”

What a powerful reminder of who the Holy Spirit is, our Helper, Comforter, and the fire of God at work within His people.

We are so grateful for what God is doing in the body of Christ and in the life of Crowded House Church 🤍

‎This past Sunday, Crowded House Church sent a team from our Bryanston and Northcliff congregations on outreach to City on a Hill Cloverdene, a partnering church of four12.

What a beautiful reminder that God uses His saints to serve, encourage, and sacrificially give as we build up His Church for His glory. We are so grateful for the opportunity to support what City on a Hill is doing in Cloverdene as they faithfully reach the lost and make Jesus known.

A few weeks back we had the joy of dedicating baby Ava, MJ, and Alexander at Crowded House North Cliff 🤍

It was so special to witness these parents dedicate their children to the Lord and commit to raising them in the faith, teaching them the ways of Jesus and surrounding them with a Christ-centred community.

We are so encouraged by what God is doing in His body and the next generation being raised for His glory!

Happy Mothers’ Day 🤍

Today we celebrate the incredible women who so selflessly love, nurture, guide, and serve their families each day. Thank you for the beautiful way you bring life, warmth, wisdom, and encouragement into the world.

“She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.”

Today we also honour spiritual mothers in the faith, the women who disciple, pray for, encourage, and gently guide the next generation in Christ. Your wisdom, love, and faithful example leave a lasting impact on so many lives.

“Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children.”
Titus 2:3–4 (ESV)

In a world where people hedge their bets and avoid commitment to protect themselves, Jesus calls us to something far more costly—and far more beautiful: to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.

Church membership is not just a formality. It’s a joyful, willing commitment to a spiritual family—a people who love, serve, and walk together as we live out our purpose in Christ and advance His Kingdom.

While God ultimately looks at the heart, this past Sunday we had the privilege of witnessing something visible and meaningful: 20 saints publicly expressing their commitment to Jesus and His bride by joining the Crowded House Church family.

We don’t take that lightly.
Jesus is building His church. And He continues to add to us those He has called, saved, equipped, and empowered for His mission.
What a gift to belong. What a joy to build together.

Yesterday we had the beautiful privilege of celebrating a baby dedication 🤍

While baby dedications are not a requirement, we see throughout Scripture the heart behind them. Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord.
“For this child I prayed, and the Lord has granted me my petition that I made to him. Therefore I have lent him to the Lord. As long as he lives, he is lent to the Lord.” (1 Samuel 1:27–28, ESV)

In the same way, Mary and Joseph presented Jesus before the Lord.“And when the time came for their purification according to the Law of Moses, they brought him up to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord.” (Luke 2:22, ESV)

Baby dedications are a special moment where parents commit to raising their child in the ways of Jesus, surrounded by a loving and faith-filled community.

It was a joy to have Beauty from Ashes with us at Crowded House Church this Sunday. As an NGO we’ve partnered with for the past few years, they shared how God is powerfully transforming lives and restoring hope in their community.

Kevin shared a stirring message, “Beautiful Jesus,” calling us to search our hearts and ask what we may be beholding above Christ.

We ended the morning around the communion table - remembering His sacrifice and fixing our eyes back on Him.

✨ Blessed 2026 Church Family! ✨

As we step into a new year, we are so grateful to be back in the rhythm of community and fellowship. We’re excited to resume our weekly Sunday services, with SALT, BAM, and Community Groups all kicking off this week 🙌

This season, we’re especially blessed to begin our new “Belong” series, where we’ll be exploring why church membership is biblical and how being part of a healthy church brings spiritual formation, protection, correction, direction, and support for leaders and saints alike.

We can’t wait to grow, gather, and walk this journey of faith together in 2026 🤍
