As we wrap up Women's month, let me talk to you about this awoman who bled for 12 years.

So much wisdom was invested in writing the Bible. As you keep on reading you'd realize that though men physically wrote it, the content, arrangement and connection of scriptures was inspired by the Holy Spirit. A tiniest detail identified can give another perspective.

This woman has been very sick, hemorraghing for 12 years, spent all her assets on physicians and suffered many things with no success. She heard about the testimony of Jesus and decided to try her luck.

On the day she was to execute her plan -that was the very day Jairus' daughter was sick to death and he (Jairus) was begging Jesus to come heal her.

Remember Jairus was the ruler/ director of the jewish synagogue. Part of his jurisdiction as per Moses' law was to ensure that the synagogue and congregants are kept clean and protected from any form of defilement and to punish tresspassers.

This woman according to Moses law was declared "unclean, defiled" and barred from public places ( Leviticus 15). For 12 years she could not worship at the synagogue nor attend public events.

Further anything or anyone she touches would be deemed unclean. So jews of her time would scream unclean, unclean, just like they treated lepers.

Her first obstacle was going out, navigating through the crowd without being recognized nor touching anyone.

Secondly she has to get Jesus attention without Jairus, synagogue ruler who was besides Jesus noticing her.

Then she had to deal with her doubts. Will Jesus not scream unclean after she touches him? That would have made Jesus unclean as well. Was Jairus not going to then order punishment for her?
..Jesus instead of shouting unclean, unclean after she touched him, he said " Daughter be of good comfort, your faith has made thee well"

OH what a Saviour, blessed Jesus. What manner of love is this❤❤❤. Even the law of Moses was publicly rendered useless!!!

Understanding your calling is important to fulfilling your assignment. Your God-given mandate may be offensive to some but redemptive to the masses. Your assignment will attract persecutions but it will also bring you to great benefits. Run your race according to your grace configuration.
Your ministry will be a VOICE to some and THUNDER to others. Know the people of your assignment and be a blessing to them and they will be a blessing to you. Accept that the will be those graced like you or more than you and be content with WHO GOD has MADE you to be.
Always remember that YOU don't have physical ENEMIES just sharperning INSTRUMEMTS your actual enemies are SPIRITUAL. Godly Character is a virtue and JESUS CHRIST is your everything. Pursue LOVE the sum total of all the fruits of the Spirit. Live your life on utter dependence on the Holy Spirit and be kept from falling.

I always wondered what this part of Psalm 23 meant. I thought “He anoints my head with oil” was figurative language for God keeping the Psalmist healthy. I never knew this parallel.

Sheep can get their head caught in briers and die trying to get untangled. There are horrid little flies that like to torment sheep by laying eggs in their nostrils which turn into worms and drive the sheep to beat their head against a rock, sometimes to death. Their ears and eyes are also susceptible to tormenting insects.

So, the shepherd anoints their whole head with oil. Then there is peace. That oil forms a barrier of protection against the evil that tries to destroy the sheep.

Do you have times of mental torment?
Do worrisome thoughts invade your mind over and over?
Do you beat your head against a wall trying to stop them?
Have you ever asked God to anoint your head with oil?
He has an endless supply! His oil protects and makes it possible for you to fix your heart, mind, and eyes on Him today and always!
There is peace in the valley! May our good Father anoint your head with oil today so that your cup overflows with blessings! God is good and He is faithful!!”

Two days ago I had the privilege of speaking to a group of juveniles at the local prison here in Rustenburg at their matric well done function. This is unchartered territory for me, so it was rather scary and I went in apprehensive 🤦. For comfortability I asked my Motho, Mabogwane Mpho Steven , to accompany me.

So because our car has broken down I had to be picked up from the house...yhooo these guys sent that van ...the one they transport offenders in, and the warders were in uniform, bathong! Even opening doors for us🤦. And I thought what must the neighbours thinking 🤷.

Then we get to the prison gate, no warning along the way, (mind you we know one of the warders personally), he says to us get out of the car your handbag, cellphone and all you are going to be searched and you are leaving everything here. Mind you my talk is on the phone which I manage to negotiate, thank God. As we walk through the prison I was so scared as I saw these young men and we walked through them, it felt like a walk of shame.

As the program began and progress, the Holy Spirit was ministering to me about my feelings and how I've judged these young men and have already condemned them...this is what sin does... it judges us, condemnes us and strips us of our dignity and free will(independence). It makes us feel guilty and ashamed... He was humbling me by giving me that experience from my own self righteousness and growing my love and passion for souls.

As I was listening, there came the announcement, Well done class of 2023 for a 100% matric pass...all 14 that wrote matric passed and they had 9 bachelor passes and 7 distinctions 💃💃💃💃. Again the Holy Spirit said to me, see where Sin abounds, there my GRACE ABOUNDS....shuuu ! When I delivered the keynote address, I saw these young men differently... I saw them through the eyes of Jesus, I saw the power of the finished work of the cross, I saw the redemptive power of the blood and I could speak to them. I did not see sinners, I couldn't even call them offenders, I saw beyond their blue and orange overalls, I saw beyond their offences and I saw men who wanted to do better, who were hopeful for a change above all I saw the beloved of the Lord - whom He desired to reconcile with. Might, I say, since I started my coaching and speaking journey that talk will go down by far as the best talk I gave thus far!

Bagaetsho, God sees beyond your faults and He desires reconciliation with you. He loves you so much.

As I poured out my heart unto God I was reminded of 2Cor12:9 "

But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."
